Participants

Opportunity sample was used, as it was convenient for me to choose the subjects from my school. The sample is 12 Russian IB students, who are 15-17 years old, both genders and almost fluent English speakers. They were randomly divided into two groups which had no interaction between each other. The target population in my case are non-native English-speaking IB students.

Materials

Set of instructions for each condition. To be given verbally (Appendix 2-3)

3. Take Condition A (group showed a video with a nice-behaved teacher) into the prepared room and sit them randomly at any desk with a sheet of upside down paper on it. Follow the Instruction Sheet 1 (Appendix 2) and give the participants an opportunity to withdraw.

4. Collect the results

5. Present the group with the debriefing sheet and answer any questions.

6. Allow Condition A to leave but ask them no to interact with Condition B.

7. Take Condition B (group showed a video with a less nice-behaved teacher) into the prepared room and sit them randomly at any desk with a sheet of upside down paper on it. Follow the Instruction Sheet 2 (Appendix 3) and give the participants an opportunity to withdraw.
