Themaximumdeclarablefuelcapacityfortechlog, navlog, etcis 16,200kgs for 3-Tank Classics, 20,800kgs forNG'sandupto 37,712kgs forBBJ'sdependinguponhowmanytanksthecustomerhasspecified (max 12). The AFM limitsarehigher, butnotnormallyachievablewithstandardSG's.
Thefuelpanelsforthevariousserieshavenotchangedmuchovertheyears. TheNG'shaveseparate ENG VALVE CLOSED & SPAR VALVE CLOSED lightsinplaceof FUEL VALVE CLOSED. The -1/200 panelalsohasblue VALVE OPEN lightssimilartothatonthecrossfeedvalve. The FILTER BYPASS lightswere FILTER ICING onthe 1/200.
The 1/200's hadheaterswitches; theseusedbleedairtoheatthefueland de-icethefuelfilter. Theyweresolenoidheldandautomaticallymovedbackto OFF afteroneminute.
NG: Theenginesparvalvesand APU arenormallypoweredbythehotbatterybusbuthave a dedicatedbatterytoensurethatthereisalwayspowertoshutoffthefuelinanemergency.
