FUEL SYSTEM BRIEF INFORMATION
In the wingandcenter sectionhas threefuel tanks: the wingand center. Firstproducedcentral, then-the wing.Eachtankhastwofuel pumps. The total maximumcapacity of the tanks737aircraftfamilyOriginalfrom12700to15600kg,depending on the modification. Airplanesfamily737Classic,containertanksincreased to16200kg,also have the optionto install an additionalfuel tankin the reartrunk. In general, similar to the737NG,tankcapacityincreased to20,800kg, modified fuel tanks: the central tankcoversnot only thecenter section, but also part ofthe wing fromthe root to theengine strut. Alsochangedthe locationof pumps andadded to the systemto remove waterfrom the tanks. OnBBJaircrafthave the abilityto install up to9additional fuel tanksin the cargo areas, increasing the capacityto37,712kg.
