1Business is an increasing important activity throughout the world today. 2Consequently, the opportunities for a business career have grown in variety and 3number. There are now five broad fields or areas of business that offer exciting careers: 4management, marketing, accounting, finance and data processing. Within each of these 5fields are specific jobs in which you can specialize. For example, within the field of 6marketing you can specialize in market research, advertising, buying, selling, or 7distribution. The figure below gives an idea of the general career opportunities that are 8available in the various fields of business.

Answers to 13these kinds of questions and careful planing will help in choosing a suitable and 14successful career in business.
