Accommodation and food
A reservation (block-booking) has been made for rooms in Hotel Santemar (C/ Joaquín Costa 28, 39005, Santander) see its location on the map below in the centre of Santander, near the beach).
If you wish to stay for a longer period in the hotel, e.g. due to an earlier arrival, and/or a later departure, the local organizer can arrange a longer stay at the hotel. The same low prize will then be negotiated (about 45 ˆ p.p.p.n. when sharing a room; about 80 ˆ p.p.p.n. when not sharing a room). This service can be offered only if you inform us on the dates of your arrival and departure (and thus on the amount of additional days you want to stay at the hotel) at latest on 5 May. You have to send your details for a longer stay in the hotel to Maria Merino Gonzalez-Pardo (maria.merino@unican.es) and Herman Hummel (herman.hummel@nioz.nl). Mind that there is only limited capacity for the other nights, and we will try to help you on basis of first comes first served.
Also for lunch and dinner central arrangements will/can be made by the local organisers, yet mind that the local organizer will only arrange the reservations (from day to day) and that the participants will have to pay themselves for the food. The prize for lunch will be about 9 – 12 ˆ, and for dinner 15 – 20 ˆ. More information on lunches and dinners will be presented at the meeting.
All the meetings will be held at the facilities of the Environmental Hydraulics Institute of the University of Cantabria “IH Cantabria”.

To Bilbao airport (BIO): Bilbao is just 1 hour from Santander and there are regular buses from Bilbao airport to Bilbao and from Bilbao to Santander (every hour). Approx. price: 7 euro.
