1. Actuality of the theme:
Depending on the type of dentition defects A.I. Betellmann proposes to distinguish several cases according to the degree of complexity in the determination of the central occlusion.
The end result of determination of central occlusion is to establish relations of dentition in a horizontal, sagittal and transversal directions. During determining of the central occlusion several techniques are used, due to the nature of the relations of existing teeth and secondary adentia clinic, depending on the complexity of defects of dentition by A.I. Betellmann.
Therefore, determination of the central occlusion is an important stage of manufacturing of partial removable laminar dentures which needs to know the basics of biomechanical movements of the mandible, the principal of which is the height of the bite, the physiological state of the rest of the mandible, the nature of transversal, sagittal and vertical movements of it. Method for determination of the central occlusion depends on the complexity of the clinical picture due to the number and topography of the defects of dentition.
2. Specific objectives:
- Analyze the clinical condition of the patient's mouth and justify the method for determining the central occlusion by the I and II groups the complexity of defects of dentition by A.I. Betellman
- To classify groups of defects in dentition by A.I. Betellmann during determining of the central occlusion.
- Propose to understand the signs of the central occlusion.
- Understand the drawing of limits on a plaster model of the lower and upper jaws during the determination of the central occlusion by the I and II groups and the complexity of defects of dentition by A.I. Betellmann with a variety of clinical conditions by the manufacturing of partial removable laminar dentures.
- To justify application of the limits of partial removable laminar prosthesis on the basis of certain clinical situations on the upper jaw by the I and II groups and the complexity of defects of dentition by A.I. Betellmann
- To justify application of the limits of partial removable laminar prosthesis on the basis of certain clinical situations on the lower jaw by the I and II groups and the complexity of defects of dentition by A.I. Betellmann.
