Objective Work This workcamp is a partnership between CSM section Zagora, Zagora Province, Delegation of the Ministry of National Education and the Municipality of Zagora. The volunteers will work during the camp to improve and painting a school unit so as to prepare an environment pleasant and motivating for children. They will also meet local young people for intercultural exchange
ACCOMMO The participants will stay in a youth center; some volunteers will be in charge of meals The volunteers will required to take with them some special menu from your country to present it during the international party.
LEISURE Zagora is a town in south-eastern Morocco, , Zagora covers a large part of the desert s of south-eastern Morocco, Draa Valley, the main source of water in the region, along the sides of ocher mountains are in perfect harmony . Volunteers can also travel to nice towns surrounding Zagora, such as Ouarzazate…
Meeting Point Casablanca or Rabat airport: take the train to Marrakech then a bus to Zagora CTM, a Small taxi takes you to the agency, and members of the CSM section will be waiting for your CTM Zagora agency to lead you to the shelter.

Objectives Work CSM LOCAL GROUP IN BENI MELLAL During this period, the volunteers will work on painting and make a big fresco in relation with the workcamp theme (Tolerance and Fraternity) , they other volunteers will work with children of a local center. The work will be from Monday to Friday. CSM will nominate a leader camp , he will be in charge of monitoring the volunteers and offer the needed necessities for the work .

ABOUT THE VENUE Beni-Mellal city lies quite far inland and is shielded by the Middle Atlas mountains the area has a real continental climate with very hot summers and quite cold winters. The walls of the city go back to Mawlay Ismail, in 1688, as well as the Kasba[disambiguation needed] Bel-Kush but most of the city is quite modern and forms an important economic centre for the region. The city has good connections via the road to Casablanca to the East and Marrakech….. -

Objective Work AZILAL CSM LOCAL GROUP in collaboration with the department of Social Work This workcamp will take place in a small resident for children and youngsters from poor families. The volunteers will contribute to the renovation and embellishment of this resident. They will paint, clean, cut weeds and do some frescos they will also have the occasion to meet youngsters in the residence or in youth house to discuss with them about this question of Tolerance and Fraternity. CSM will nominate a leader camp, he will be in charge of monitoring the volunteers and offer the needed necessities for the work .

ABOUT THE VENUE AZIZAL is a small town near to BENI MELLAL, it's known by its high mountains, frech climate , and its several waterfalls . Several families spend the spring holiday in this area .

Its aim is to improve the looks of the local School such as gardens, squares, sports fields, The volunteers, local as well as international, will work together contributing to the maintenance of these places with manual work in- and around public buildings and walls, frescos can be painted on the walls. The district of Sidi Moussa is a quite poor neighborhood, at the houses and living places a lot of manual work or painting can be done. Especially near the sea, this area is quite polluted, and apart from picking up the rubbish. The volunteers can contribute proposals of their own ideas to make the work as effective as possible. A Camp leader will facilitate the volunteer’s tasks and prepare with the volunteers the program for the participants

ABOUT THE VENUE Sale is the town which is nearest to Rabat, situated north of the capital from which it’s separated by the Bouregreg River. Indeed, it is a traditional, rather conservative place, where time seems to have stood still. The dress code is a lot tighter than in the neighboring capital. The town’s medina has a lot of narrow alleys with beautiful ancient buildings on each side.

ABOUT THE VENUE Kenitra is a town 40 km away from the capital Rabat where you can easily get by train in about 30 minutes. For a long time its port was a U.S. Naval Base. Kenitra is also known for its ancient Kasbah, its fine sand beaches and the forest of Mamora where many families tend to spend their weekends. Near the city, one can find the lake of Sidi-Boughaba which is a protected area for biodiversity.

Volunteers can visit several places in Rabat such as monuments, beaches and Marina , or organize excursions to several nice places

Objective Work This camp will be organized in collaboration with the agency for protection of ancient monuments. Its goal is to help maintaining the town’s UNESCO World Heritage site, as well as preserving all its splendor and beauty. The volunteer’s work will include contributing to the restoration such as cleaning and painting historical remains in order to contribute to its perpetuation and guarantee its continuance. Locals may be able to tell stories about the monuments revealing interesting facts about Morocco’s history.

ABOUT THE VENUE Fes is the third largest city of Morocco, located by the Atlas Mountains. It’s the oldest of the four imperial cities of Morocco and famous for its medina which is supposed to be largest of Northern Africa. Fes el Bali is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it is believed to be the world’s largest contiguous car-free urban area. As it was the intellectual center of Morocco for a long time you can find a lot of interesting mosques, museums and universities. The volunteers will visit several old monuments in the Medina , and organize some excursions in the surrounding areas

Its aim is to contribute to the improvement a residence of those people with few opportunities. The work will consist in painting the walls, windows and doors and doing frescos inside this House. According to the volunteers’ abilities, creativity and commitment, it’s possible to organize workshops, such as language classes, theater, games or handicrafts for the children and adolescents visiting the center. Its aim is to contribute to renovate the local sports space in a center of children. Thereby the leisure time facilities of the native youth will be extended. Hidden beaches and the national park of Alhoceima make this area a place with a lot to discover.

Objective Work This project is organized with the local delegation of Health , it will take place in a medical center for people with a mental disorder. The volunteers will organize campaigns in order to raise consciousness for drugs and other toxic substances, for the patients of the center and their relatives as well as locals. Therefore, at least a basic knowledge of French is recommended. Volunteers have the opportunity to get in contact with persons from different backgrounds and gain experience in the field of medical aid and social work. In addition the volunteers will also try to make this place very pleasant and clean which will have a positive impact on the people with a mental disorder. They will also work to maintain garden inside and outside of the center. CSM will nominate a leader camp; he will be in charge of monitoring the volunteers and offer the needed necessities for the work.

ABOUT THE VENUE Berrechid is a small town in the central part of Morocco. It has about 70 000 inhabitants. Berrechid is known for its mental home and for the agriculture in the region. The important Moroccan cities Casablanca (50km), Rabat and El Jadida are quite close to Berrechid, day trips into the surrounding area are also possible at the weekends.

ABOUT THE VENUE Essaouira is a beautiful, but rather small town situated at the Atlantic Ocean between Safi and Agadir in the South of Morocco. Especially because of its charming fishing harbor with its seagulls soaring and the refreshing summer wind, it attracts a lot of tourists. However, with regard to the weather, warm clothes are advised to be used in some chilly and windy nights. The beach is a nice place to relax, to surf or to even do some camel and horse riding.

ABOUT THE VENUE Tiznit is a city whose inhabitants are mainly Berber, the original people living in Morocco. It’s situated in the south of the country, 80 km from the rather big City of Agadir. It’s known for its Goldsmith’s art as well as its gardens supplied with water by the famous “blue source”. The region of Tiznit is where the desert of Sahara and the Atlantic Ocean meet; olive-, argan- and palm trees form the particular landscape.

Objective Work This camp will be organized in collaboration with the municipality of Salé Bouknadel. Volunteers will help with manual work at various environmental projects; they must be prepared for flexibility and any type of work (indoor and outdoor) including gardening and picking up rubbish at the beach and in public spaces. The volunteers are welcome to propose and realize own ideas to make the work as effective as possible. According to the volunteers’ abilities, creativity and commitment, it’s possible to organize workshops, such as campaigns to raise the awareness of the local population concerning environmental issues. CSM will nominate a leader camp; he will be in charge of monitoring the volunteers and offer the needed necessities for the work

ABOUT THE VENUE Bouknadel is a small city next to Salé which is mostly known for its beach “plage des Nations” and the beautiful public Exotic Garden. Salé is the nearest town to Rabat, situated north of the capital from which it’s separated by the Bouregreg River.

Objective Work This project is a partnership between CSM Ben Msik and the association of parent’s students of the local School, Its aim is to make this school enjoyable and to improve the looks of a local School. Objective Work CSM Midelt is a very active section of the association, especially on sustainable development; this workcamp is organized in collaboration with the local community and the municipality. Its aim to rise the mid of the local authorities to assume their responsibility to do the work necessary to make the city attractive is pleasant .The volunteers will organize a campaigns in order to raise the Consciousness for local Environment Aids and childbed fever for the local population. Therefore, at least a basic knowledge of French is recommended. Volunteers have the opportunity to get in contact with persons from different backgrounds since the campaigns should aim at inhabitants of the city and its suburbs. They will also gain experience in the field of medical aid and social work.

Its aim is to make various works to make the school more pleasant and attractive. ABOUT THE VENUE Rabat is the capital of Morocco, though it doesn’t seem too much like a metropolis. Volunteers can visit several places in Rabat such as monuments, beaches and Marina , or organise excursions to several nice places

The volunteer’s work will include contributing to the restoration such as cleaning and painting historical remains in order to contribute to its perpetuation and guarantee its continuance. Locals may be able to tell stories about the monuments revealing interesting facts about Morocco’s history.

ABOUT THE VENUE Fes is the third largest city of Morocco, located by the Atlas Mountains. It’s the oldest of the four imperial cities of Morocco and famous for its medina which is supposed to be largest of Northern Africa. Fes el Bali is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it is believed to be the world’s largest contiguous car-free urban area. As it was the intellectual center of Morocco for a long time you can find a lot of interesting mosques, museums and universities. The volunteers will visit several old monuments in the Medina , and organize some excursions in the surrounding areas

Objective Work The project will be organized in collaboration with the ministry of social affairs. Its aim is to contribute to the improvement a residence of students with few opportunities. It will take palce in Aitourir (15 km ) to Marrakech .The participants will have the possibility to get in contact with children with difficult backgrounds, do workshops with them according to their own commitment and creativity. The volunteers, local as well as international, will work together contributing to the maintenance of the center with manual work in- and around the building. Some frescos can be painted on the walls. The volunteers are welcome to propose and realize own ideas to make the work as effective as possible. The general organization and responsibility of the workcamp lies with a camp leader who may as well prepare an animation programme for the participants, including the proposition of spare-time activities in the surrounding area.

It hosts the most important oil refinery of Morocco, Samir, which makes Mohammadia the center of the Moroccan petrol. The city includes the old centre of the Kasbah and is famous for its beaches. Since a big part of the population consists of young people, the number of educational establishments is quiet high.
