The word around us is very complicated and there are many career opportunities opening before a young person. While choosing a job many factors should be taken into consideration: wages and salaries, job satisfaction, opportunities to travel and to see much. Perhaps, the most important criterion is job satisfaction.

If you are completely at a loss, a better solution would be to turn to your parents for advice. The career you choose is likely to affect many aspects of your life: your income, your home, your car and so on.But it works both ways.Your personal values and interests influense your choice of profession.

The best way to prepare for any job is to get a good education. That’s why I study at the communication college now. Career opportunities after graduating from the college are quite wide.

Scientific and technological progress

Its difficult to overestimate the role of science and technology in our life. They accelerate the development of civilization and help us in our cooperation with nature. Scientists investigate the laws of the universe, discover the secrets of nature.

Lets compare our life nowadays with the life at the beginning of the 20th century .I mean refrigerators, TV sets, computers , microwave ovens, radio telephones. They would seem miracle to them that made our life easy, comfortable and pleasant. On the other hand, the great inventions of the beginning of the 20th century.

But every medal had its reverse. And the rapid scientific progress has aroused a number of problems. These are ecological problems, the safety of nuclear power stations. But still we are grateful to the outstanding men, of the past and the present who have courage and patience to disclose the secrets of the Universe.

Internet

Internet is a communication network system that links millions of computers all over the world. It takes programmes , sounds, images and text on round the world trip. Every day thousands new computer users link themselves to this network system. The whole world is interlined with computers.

You just need a telephone, a computer and modem to get linked to the outside world. Internet allows you to exchange messages and information by conveying programmes or images to long distant computers. Originally, this system was invented by the scientists of the pentagon in 1970 who wanted to build up a communication system that would survive a nuclear war.

Internet has replaced hand-written letters, television, newspapers, business tips. Even commercial operations are done by computers. So, our world is without frontiers now. Internet gives you the possibilities to do many daily activities without leaving your home.
