List your stress-provoking factors and analyze them.

I take it that stress is a condition when you often feel nervous or you’re worried about something without any reason. You also feel discomfort all the time and can’t relax. You can be angry with everybody; everything seems to get on your nerves and you can become unnerved at the slightest excuse.

There’s a variety of stress-provoking factors. Everyone has his/her own ones. I suppose it depends on the way of live. Still there are some common factors such as commuting; traffic jams, having frenetic working lifestyle with frequent workloads, worrying about relationships with your nearest and dearest, etc. Also there’re some occupations regarded as the most stressful: teaching, nursing or management, for example. I believe they’re associated with stress because such professions require a lot of forces physical as well as moral. In addition, they’re related to great responsibility which people of these occupations should take on. Some of them can’t cope with this and it can lead to depression which includes sleeping difficulties, anxiety, health disorders, alcohol and even drug abuse.

I believe that for managing stress effectively it is much-needed to can relax. My position is that the best way for relaxing is doing some sport. You can benefit from regular exercising. The endorphins released when you exercise will reduce stress, calm you down and help to prevent anxiety. The adrenalin can give you extra short-term energy and help fire you up when you are feeling depressed. It also increases your long-term stamina and ability to cope with everyday life. Your body shape will improve. Aerobic exercise can help reduced weight by burning extra calories. In addition, it improves your posture and the texture of your skin, lessens mood swings and depression, and helps to prevent arthritis, joint problems and other illnesses. You will look and feel great.

3. Do you believe depression needs serious treatment?

At the beginning of the 20th century most of scientists didn’t regard depression as a serious illness. They ranked diseases according to their propensity to cause death, rather than the restriction they impose to normal life. Medical professions believed that depression is no more than just a feeling of sadness. Still the number of medical studies indicated that it’s a serious illness that shouldn’t be neglected.

The statistics show that nowadays depression is the number one cause of disability. It’s often compared with epidemic. According to the figures published by the World Health Organization more than one hundred million people suffer from depression in the world. It’s claimed that men are less susceptible to depression that women. The common symptoms of depression are feeling of loneliness and despair, lassitude, sleeping disorders, anxiety. Depression can make you vulnerable to different diseases. Sometimes it involves alcohol or drug abuses. In some cases depression can lead to suicide.

I suppose that depression is a matter of public concern still it can be avoided. My perspective is the best way to lessen a risk of depression is leading a proactive lifestyle. For instance, you can do some sport.

4. Do you agree with Aristotle, that man is a social animal?

I have a hunch that when Aristotle said that man is a social animal he meant that one can’t survive in this world without help of others. Everyone needs to be supported and assisted in some cases. In ancient times it was completely impossible to live on your own. Hard weather conditions, lots of wars, difficulties in getting food. Life outside the house was extremely dangerous. One might have been killed while hunting an animal to cook it for dinner. That is why people lived in groups so that they could protect and support each other when it was much-needed. As for operating culture and attitudes, the world is quite different still remains hard-worn to survive. Nowadays we do not suffer not only from physical disorders but also from the mental ones. That is why we need someone to empower us when we feel sad and depressed. We need someone who feels sympathetic to us and encourages us to emotional expression whet it’s much needed. I suppose that people can’t survive in hostile business surroundings on their own. Everyone should have nearest and dearest. We are social animals as every day we help each other to cope with troubles.

5. How to stay in mind without going crazy in the process of regulating your weight?

My point is that it depends on everyone’s personality. Some people do not think of their weight at all. Others count each calorie to prevent extra pounds creeping on. I believe that one of the ways to control your weigh is to learn more about how products we eat affect our organism. It’s relevant to know which food is good for health and which one is called a junk food. It will help you be quite choosy and picky in what you eat. At the same time you shouldn’t be afraid of eating a cake or a piece of roast chicken. I suppose that weight obsession appears when people have not enough information about their body. Lots of people believe that extra weight creep on when they eat something fat or sweet. Still conventional wisdom runs that most part of the population becomes bulky due to leading a sedentary life style. My position is the best way to keep your weight is doing some sport. Our body was made to be used, not ignored.

Still you should remember about you eating habits. Everyday exercises need a good nutrition. Just try to eat only healthy and fresh products and steer clear of fast food and stuff like that.
