Organized together with DreamWalker China (DWC) since 2016. DWC is a new NGO founded in 2013. DWC is social purpose organization that believes everyone can make positive contribution and change to their own personal development, as well as to global development, through international voluntary service and sustainable changemaking actions. NICE co-organized workcamps and LMTV to share know-how & networks.

Host Organization called Grand Windmill Farm, organic farm and sanctuary for many farm animals such as mules, ponies, pigs, turkeys, rabbits and dogs. This family-run farm was created with a mission to ‘reconnect urban dwellers to nature’ and ‘to promote a healthy, sustainable lifestyle’ through their tailored-made activities for people of all ages.

W: Program name is “Sustainable Farming and Animal Sanctuary”. 1) Farming and harvesting, packaging herbs, fruits and vegetables. 2) Caring of farm animals (feeding, grooming, exercise, etc.) 3) Helping with daily operation and general maintenance of the farm 4) Other duties assigned by the farm staff.

A: Simple and basic accommodation is provided in the farm. Beddings are also available. A cooking and cleaning schedule will be arranged at the beginning of the project. Cooking and cleaning chores by turn.

L: It located in southern district of Zhongshan city which is easily accessible from Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Macau and Zhuhai via various land and sea. By ferry 90min, by bus 180min to Hong Kong.

T: Zhongshan. Closest airport are Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport or Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport.

SR: At least 1 month. The main language is English. We recommend our volunteers to learn some basic greetings in Chinese. A passion in voluntary work and respect for cultural differences are crucial to having a good time at LMTV projecy. Volunteers should be open-minded and adaptable. They should be friendly and willing to work as a team. High motivation to work and respect to the local culture and way of the local organization!

PF: 2,100 RMB (~290 EURO) for the 1st month, 1,800 RMB (~250 EURO) for the 2nd month to be paid on your arrivals.
