Arabic Calligraphy (CAL)
· Courses are offered in the following levels: Beginning (1&2), Mutaalim (1&2), Calligrapher (1&2)
· Each course consists of 40 hours
· Textbooks used: Modern Instructive Encyclopedia of Arabic Calligraphy Styles ( Mahdi Sayed Mahmud); Rules of the Arabic Calligraphy (Hashim Mohamed ElKhatat); Teach Yourself Arabic Calligraphy Series by Mahdi Sayed Mahmud

All textbooks and study materials are available for purchase or are provided on loan (with deposit) at school.
Study Options
Immersion group courses
· Available for MSA and CMA programs
· Offered on the basis of intensive (30 hours per week) or semi-intensive (20 hours per week) schedule
· In addition to group classes, students get free tutoring and homework assistance every day
Evening group courses
· Available for MSA and CMA programs
· Two options are possible: 30 hours session (2 hours lesson 1 time per week) or 60 hours session (2 hours lesson 2 times per week)
Private courses
· Available for all programs
Immersion Course Schedule
All courses at school go continuously. Students can start their studies on the following dates:

Complete beginners can start the course only on the dates marked in Red.
Non-beginner students’ level will be determined according to the placement test taken on the first day of studies. Student can pass to the next level after successful performing of the written and oral test at the end of each course.
