The Strategic Innovation Research Group at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology invites applications for a full time Postdoctoral Associate for a) space systems engineering b) space instrumentation development. Principal Investigator is Skoltech Professor Alessandro Golkar. We are looking for committed, pro-active and motivated candidates that hold a Doctoral Degree in a relevant engineering discipline. Backgrounds of interest include aerospace engineering, electronics engineering, telecommunications engineering, and computer science. Successful candidates have relevant research and/or industrial work experience. Experience should include an understanding of systems modeling, concurrent engineering and multidisciplinary optimization. A strong foundation in MATLAB and modeling and simulation is essential. A background in synthetic aperture radar imagery and radar hardware are highly valued assets. Appointments of will be made with competitive salary, depending on experience and qualifications (including previous publication record), in addition to housing allowance and medical benefits for expatriate candidates. Excellent travel and computing support will be provided and opportunities exist for supervising PhD students.
