The national liberation movement under the leadership of Zh. Tlenshi

In the first decades of the XIX century, Kazakhstan experienced strong economic collapse and political crisis. All this was a consequence of strengthening the colonialist policy of the tsarist, and nasigdeya tyranny over the people, and interference in the traditional economy, etc. Finally, the imperial administration stoked the fire of enmity between the leading estates - the Sultan and Biisk, which led to violent clashes and dissension.

That is how prepared the prerequisites of an infinite number of popular and Sultan movements of the 19th century. The most significant of these in Western Kazakhstan we call movement carat, the liberation struggle Aryngazy Khan's performance Zholaman Tlenshyuly and batyra Eset.

Also, one of the most serious outbreaks of popular indignation in 20-30 years, 19th Century was the performance Zholaman Tlenshi uly, an ardent supporter of Khan Aryngazy that connected with him his plans revival of peace and stability in the Junior zhuz. Repeated failure to peace talks has pushed Zholaman the path of armed struggle. It was one of the longest in the history of the resistance of the national liberation movements of the Kazakh people.

The enormous scale of the uprising Zholaman batyra adopted in 1835, the struggle for land, lost pasture is the main content of this movement.
