1. The subject of the lesson:Asthma bronchiale The aim: The students must be able to diagnose Asthma bronchiale, determine the severity, and prescribe the proper treatment. Topicality:. Asthma is a condition in which the airways narrow?usually reversibly?in response to certain stimuli. Asthma affects about 17 to 18 million people in the United States and is becoming more common.
Educational goal: 1. Determine main aetiological factors of Asthma bronchiale. 2. Learn the modern classification of Asthma bronchiale. 3. Define the clinical symptoms of Asthma bronchiale 4. Make the plan of additional investigation of the patient and analyze their results. 5. Make the clinical diagnosis of the patient with Asthma bronchiale. 6. Prescribe the proper treatment.
The student must know: 1. Aetiology and pathogenesis of Asthma bronchiale. 2. Clinical symptoms of Asthma bronchiale 3. Modern classification of Asthma bronchiale. 4. Methods of diagnostics of Asthma bronchiale 5. Methods of treatment of Asthma bronchiale.
The student must be able: 1. To choose the symptoms of Asthma bronchiale from the history data. 2. In examination of the patient to choose the symptoms of Asthma bronchiale 3. To make the scheme of investigation. 4. To define the type and the severity of the Asthma bronchiale 5. To determinate the treatment depending on the type and degree of Asthma bronchiale 6.To prescribe the proper treatment for the patient with Asthma bronchiale Subject of the lesson: Asthma is characterised by chronic airway inflammation and increased airway hyper-responsiveness leading to symptoms of wheeze, cough, chest tightness and dyspnoea. It is characterised functionally by the presence of airflow obstruction which is variable over short periods of time, or is reversible with treatment.
