Background and Experience
Please briefly the partner organization
NGO Rodyna was founded in 2000. We have been working with children of different age and kinds with functional disabilities for nearly 15 years. Our organization has a profound experience in social work and constantly looks for additional opportunities for development of children and youth with special needs. We work hard and do our best to help everyone who needs it and are always eager to share our knowledge and experience.
In 2012 we managed to achieve great success: children who couldn't visit common kindergartens and schools earlier, finally could make it. Even now 12 of them are attending these schools and nurseries and our NGO happily accompanies them.
In 2013 we opened a volunteer department of initiative workers ?out of the box? that concentrates on problems that touch our Youth families and volunteers in society. As we have around 200 volunteers in our organization we are working on topics important for them as well. Our organization is not limited with only one topic ? disability, we constantly try to promote social inclusion. To fight for inclusion also means to think about something else! And we have been doing it successfully for 2 year already.
What are the activities and experience of the organization in the areas relevant for this application?
On the basis of the NGO "Rodyna" there is a center which gives social and psychological assistance for children and youth. We have created a kindergarten for children with severe developmental disabilities. Our volunteers organize children's activities through a variety of educational games and methods. We use the most modern of them for the children`s rehabilitation. Events that were realized by us: "Drawing on the asphalt", the project of alternative communication "I understand and I feel peace," culinary project with the support of ?Ashan?, video making project Inclusion "Fit into normality" about inclusive education in Ukraine etc. Moreover, our organization conducts regular trainings and seminars for parents of children with disabilities.
Another part of our work is aimed at carrying out local and international projects for young people. Among the successfully realized international projects are:
One day of differences (video project about social exclusion for children in orphanages) - TC, October, Moldova 2014 (Erasmus +)
Sport live in France - TC about healthy life style, sport and videology, December 2014 (Erasmus +)
In addition, we organize informational campaigns for youth on a regular base about international programs, internships and opportunities. One of our projects was "There is a contact" in 2015 gathered together 20 young people from all Ukraine. The aim of the project was to attract young people to active social position and search for avaliable areas of work for them in our organization.

We are a strongly motivated, creative organization, very professional and responsible. We will send the most active participants who are interesting in topic of this project and who are ready to promote it after the project! After the project we are ready to share information practice and knowledge that participant will get during the project. Will organized meeting with other local volunteers and Youth to implement ideas of this project.
