· Worked as a research analyst in Asset Management department and as an investment banking analyst in Corporate Finance department. Managed investment portfolios of funds and the company; prepared research products for investment committee and the clients with full fundamental analysis using valuation methods (DCF, Comparables, LBO).

· Brief Description of Experience gained:

o Managed 3 funds and the company portfolio;

o Conducted research on technological, healthcare, consumer staples and energy sector;

§ As a result of my econometric regression analysis I’ve figured out that these sectors have high betas, so I tested them for correlation with S&P 500. Further I retrieved different investing targets for both bullish and bearish markets.

o Introduced investment ideas on purchase of shares of NVIDIA Corp., Intel Corp., Merck & Co. Inc., Pfizer Inc., Kraft Foods Inc., etc.;

o Proposed these stocks on the basis of comparables analysis, DCF, sector and market analysis.

· Worked as an investment analyst; managed funds’ and clients’ investment portfolios; prepared macroeconomic, market, and valuation analyses, developed and implemented several investment strategies.

· Brief Description of Experience gained:

o Managed a $15 million portfolio of Verny Capital, and total $9 million of clients’ portfolios;

o Introduced investment ideas on purchase of shares of Mastercard Inc., NVIDIA Corp., etc.;

§ Researched technology and financial sector and narrowed down candidates based on financial criteria such as revenue growth and EBITDA margins, debt ratios, market ratios (P/E, P/S, PEG, P/BV); recommended 7 best candidates to client, leading to additional due diligence on 2 potential purchases.

o Performed a macroeconomic and market analysis for decision-making;

§ Analyzed the macroeconomic data, industry indicators, firm-specific data (such as financial statements) on the everyday basis for the Investment Committee. Technical analysis of market indicators. Analyzed mainly S&P 500 index. Tools of technical analysis used: Elliott Wave Principle, RSI, MACD, Fibonacci tools of analysis. Analysis of commodities and money markets.

o Worked on the development of the investment strategy for different time perspectives.

§ With the help of econometric methods developed a model to predict the behaviour of S&P 500 using different variables, such as prices of futures on gold, unemployment rate, CPI. Data had 120 monthly observations. Model explained nearly 70% of data.

Trader Intern May 2010 – August 2010

· Was involved in a trader training programme, where learned to do technical analysis;

· Worked on the development of options trading strategies. The use of straddles and call/put spreads were tested on the virtual account. Results showed the average 10% return.
