SENSORS FIN THERMO SENSOR 1. Description Fin sensor is installed in the evaporator in order to detect the temperature of evaporator. It prevents evaporator from freezing. Location : Inserted into the evaporator pin Characteristics
2-2. On/off temperatures: 0 ~ 0.5°C : OFF 3.5 ~ 4°C : ON INCAR SENSOR The in-car sensor is located on the lower crash pad as shown in the picture. It contains a thermister, which measures the temperature of the air inside the passenger compartment. It senses the passenger compartment temperature, changes the resistance value, and enters the corresponding voltage into the automatic temperature control module (FATC).
Inspection Negative type thermistor, that resistance will rise with lower temperature, and reduce with higher temperature.
PHOTO SENSOR
It contains a photovoltaic (sensitive to sunlight) diode.
AMBIENT SENSOR The ambient temperature sensor is located at the front of the condenser fan shroud. This sensor detects the temperature of outside air and sends voltage signals to the controller. The sensor output will be used for discharge air temperature, sensor fail-safe, temperature door control, blower motor level control, mix mode control and in-car humidity control. It is a negative type thermistor; resistance will increase with lower temperature, and decrease with higher temperatures
.
Most drivers generally select the recirculation or fresh air mode manually to intercept the inflow of harmful exhaust gas, in spite of inconvenience and danger, while driving. These harmful gases can be causes of tiredness, drowsiness or cough while driving.
AQS gives a perfect solution to these problems. The Air Quality System detects exhaust gas of neighboring vehicles and intercepts automatically. AQS controls the inlet of car automatically and can be easily installed to the existing vehicle. Manual operation is also available.
Location
Humidity sensor detects the relative humidity of the car’s cabin. This sensor converts it into the frequency signal (Hz) and sends the signal to the FATC controller. If ambient air temperature or in-car humidity is outside certain range, it will turn on A/C to control in-car humidity preventing in-car fogging.
