This paper focuses on one of the most popular tourist destinations of India “The Golden Triangle”. “The Golden Triangle” includes 3 cities in the North-West of the country. They are Delhi, Jaipur and Agra. They possess an enormous cultural and historical potential of the country and attract the main stream of tourists. In this paper the characteristics of these cities that make up the route in terms of their attractiveness for tourists are considered.
