D) Dual organizational structure modelA) The dedicated organizational structure model
It is often used to perform a single project (also called an adhocracy organization – where «ad hoc» means «on occasion»). After finishing this project, the OS model is also closed down.
The parental organization provides the resources for dedicated OS model, but after completing the project, they are back.
The degree of the dedication may differ from the separate and sovereign business, which is controlled only on the top level to the organization’s department, which interacts with other departments.

B) Management by project model
In case the organization has to perform projects regularly, the higher degree of their integration in the parental organizational structure is needed. Thus, the dedicated organizational structure model may transfer to the internal permanent structure, which is called «management by project model».
It is very hard to distinguish the project and the parental structures in the organizations that do regularly execute some projects.

C) Global management by project model
This organizational structure model is used, when the parental organization’s activities consist of projects only. Then, the structures of parental and project OS are just the same sort of thing.

These three types of organizational structure models are often used in the following situations:
· the whole project is executed by one organization - the prime contractor
· the roles of the orderer, prime contractor and investor belong to the same organization
For example, if an organization creates new product, then the sales department is an orderer, the manufacturing department is a prime contractor, and the development department appears as an investor.
d) Dual organizational structure model
Meanwhile, in case 2 organizations take part in the project, another organizational structure model is needed.
The dual OS model can be used, if:
· there are two investors, and both of them are very interested in the positive results of the project
· the importance of the orderer and the prime contractor works are the same
