3.6. Program of a rate «Subsea engineering and materials» (32 hours)

The rate «Subsea engineering and materials» will be given by University.

The rate «Subsea engineering and materials» will be spent at University in center «FMC-Polytechnic».

The course should focus on a system approach to design of subsea structures for oil and gas developments.

The maintenance of the program «Subsea engineering and materials»:

Module 1 - Project execution (general) (7 h)

Module 2-Loads on a SPS (Subsea production System) (6 h)

Module 3 - General material considerations for subsea constructions (9h)

Module 4 - Material selection with respect to piping design (10 h)

 

3.7. Degree work:

In parallel with listening lectures students will perform degree works in which they could show the competence of designing and calculations of components of a underwater basic plate, using the Pro-Engineer.

FMC will define underwater components for work.

The aspects mentioned in degree works, will be concretized FÌÑ for each listener not later the beginning of employment.

 

The form of examination:

Part 1: The written documentation in English in the form of the diploma with necessary drawings.

Part 2: Oral presentation in English before examination board - representatives FMC and University.
