Please note that all information in this handbook is correct as of #### and that late changes to the programme may occur. Introduction to the Handbook
This handbook has been drawn up as a proposal for a Summer School to be held at Aston University in July 2013, for students of Saratov State University. We would be honoured to engage in a partnership with your University and look forward to welcoming your staff and students to the UK.
The programme below outlines an academically intensive package, in order to allow students to obtain the maximum possible benefit from their time at Aston. Each day is packed with English language training, specialist sessions run by the recognised experts from Aston Centre for Europe, and cultural activities.
The comprehensive package outlined below includes travel, accommodation, tuition and board in the UK, but does not include either travel to and from the UK, or visa costs. Aston enjoys approved visa sponsor status and will provide all the necessary expertise and documentation to expedite this process. The indicative price for the proposed package would be £1600 per student, with a minimum number of 20, which compares very favourably to offerings made by similar UK universities The precise schedule and expense can be modified according to the needs of Saratov State University students, and we would be happy to enter into a dialogue about the precise composition of the programme.
We would be delighted to furnish you with any more information you may require in order to aid your consideration – for example, further specification of the substantive content of the programme, details of our facilities, or photos of the campus and surrounding environment. Please do not hesitate to get in contact if we can be of assistance.
We look forward to working with you to develop this exciting programme!
With best wishes,
