The DEPARTMENT OF GEOGRAPHY AND MANAGEMENT OF TOURISM is the youngest Department within the Faculty of Geography of Chernivtsi Yuri Fedkovych National University. The date of its foundation – 10 th February, 2003.
Geographical science and education in Chernivtsi National University had taken start 129 years ago. The period of over a century includes epochs in the history of university geography – Austrian (1876 – 1918), Rumanian (1918 – 1940), Soviet (1940 – 1991), and the period of independence of Ukraine (since 1991).
51 faculty tutors are now teaching nearly 1250 students of daytime, part-time and external forms of education.
The College of History, Political Science and International Relations
The College offers 4-year (Bachelor degree) and 5-year (Specialist and Master degree) programs (full-time, part-time and external) in:

ü The Faculty consists of fifteen full professors, forty associate professors, and seventeen assistant professors.
There are seven departments: History of Ukraine; Contemporary History; Ethnology, Ancient and Medieval History; International Relations; International Information; Political Science; Foreign Languages and Translation, the College also has the Museum of Ethnography and Bukovinian Center of Archaeological Research under Chernivtsi National University.
The College expands its relations with international research and academic institutions of more than ten countries - Poland, Romania, Moldova, Russian Federation, Czech Republic, Slovakia, USA, Canada, etc.

The College of Law
The College offers 4-year (Bachelor degree) and 5-year (Specialist and Master degree) programs (full-time, part-time and external) in Jurisprudence.
The College was founded in 1875. Yevhen Erlih, the founder of Law Sociology, and Hans Gross, the creator of Criminology, were among the faculty.
The Faculty numbers five full professors, thirty-six associate professors, twenty-nine assistant professors, and twenty-two assistants. The College’s intensive growth is caused by sound doctorate and postgraduate study programs.
The College has its own codification and criminology laboratories, computer lab, Internet center, European Studies Center, Students' Law Clinic, Yevhen Erlih Student Scientific Society. University’s research library receives about 50 reviews in Jurisprudence, a lot of scientific and educational literature.
Over 96,5% of the College's full-time graduates work in their major field.
