We are interested in talking to ambitious London based Account Managers with financial markets experience who are capable of growing and retaining an existing base of business whilst providing the outstanding service that our clients and services deserve.
4CAST, established in 1994 is a leading provider of on-line intraday market analysis to financial market professionals within a global blue-chip banking, buy-side institutional and central bank customer base. With operations in London, New York and Singapore, 4CAST is a highly respected force in the independent financial market analysis industry specialising in global foreign exchange, government debt and money markets.
With a strong existing product portfolio and planned enhancements to fuel growth, we are expanding the European team to improve sales, account coverage, customer service and revenue retention.
Your goal is to grow and retain your revenue base, building strong relationships with end users to create a firm foundation for high levels of client satisfaction and revenue growth. This will be achieved through your commitment to develop excellent product knowledge, ability to communicate effectively with clients at all levels and above all maintaining a “can do” enthusiastic approach to your work. You will be confident, well organised, possess excellent communications/presentation skills and have the drive and determination to succeed in competitive situations.
This position is based in our London office covering UK accounts.
REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Previous experience in Account Management, Business Development, Sales and/or client relationship with good knowledge of the banking industry and FX / FI related markets
Managing and growing an existing client base and expanding new business in a London territroy via telephone and face-to-face meetings
Sales Targets awareness and attainability
Build and maintain relationships with key trading personnel within your accounts
Liaising with IT and Market Data departments and building relationships with suppliers e.g. Reuters, Bloomberg, etc.
Contribute to the maintenance of accurate, in-depth account databases.
Liaising with 4CAST economists & strategists to encourage client interaction
Planning new marketing campaigns/strategies for territories
Sourcing New Leads - networking/directories/lists etc
Assisting Marketing Department with ideas for mail shots/PR events/marketing campaigns
Continuously build and expand own knowledge and skills to keep pace with market trends.
Provide feedback to teams in terms of customer requirements, trends, sales opportunities, etc
