Within the international context of the network which is part of De Amicitia we wanted to give value to learning from common experience, volunteering and part of multiculturalism, as a means of growth for these young people. We believe that multicultural coexistence generated by an international volunteer activity, though temporary, can generate change in mentality and in the way we understand and act in life.

De Amicitia wants to strengthen the implementation of the strategy of inclusion that poses the Youth in Action program itself, trying to put our experience to work in terms of international volunteer management combining it with a deeper integration work carried out within DeAmicitia projects usually done annually.

There will also be beneficial to the local community as well, which may this once a willing and open to the other, as is typical of the period vernal, learn and open their mental blocks.

As for service opportunities, it will be possible for the volunteer / to learn about environmental education, about life in a rural and mountainous, and finally being able to confront with other people from different contexts to that of the Sierra Norte, to reflect on possible ways of sustainable rural development and the environment.

For the future development of the project, has set a process of learning about various topics such as rural development, the impact of human activity on the territory, the apiculutra and agricultural production, and the promotion of sustainable lifestyles.

As for learning, how they are raised EVS has characteristics of an intense experience. This is especially relevant in the short-term projects such as international volunteer camps. The Volunteer / a in question, will be a learning experience not only focused on the stimuli coming from outside himself (the geographical environment, social environment, establish the dynamic between the group and from the group to the local community ) but also within him / her.

The EVS will be the excuse for / the voluntary / a to experience a series of personal autonomy experiences and reflect on your own personality thanks to the reflection that this may have within the group dynamic.

Differently to the dynamics that are established when a group of risk from exclusion joins multilateral exchange, here is the / the self / volunteer / a who has to "risk" in the adventure of establishing new relationships, cooperation in voluntary work, and knowledge of a separate environment from.

It will be a step towards the path of normalization of human relations and to an awareness of their own autonomy of life in the midst of a social environment as well as yourself.

Naturally / The Volunteer / to provide the necessary support in a crisis or any difficulty may have during your stay in the project. It is therefore appropriate form to the coordinator of this project and where appropriate, will be requested on the basis of case-by-case, the presence of a guardian (if reinforced mentorship serious mobility problems or Disabled, or development of social relations).

The / The Volunteer / a going to be a participant in international volunteer projects, and will be treated by the coordinator as a volunteer more.

Participate in daily tasks arising from the common coexistence as cleaning and preparing meals with the whole group and also be inserted in all processes of group formation and construction.

As for the tasks of international volunteer projects will depend on the proposed activities but generally refer to local projects to impact society and end concrete for performing assigned volunteer activities.

Naturally the above tasks will not be performed in the spirit of replacing an employee, but that will be framed to give a framework for learning and contextualization of the same. For example the tasks related to honey not made without conducting a proper training to those responsible for De Amicitia and parallel with the village elders, for volunteers / as to understand the meaning and value of the proposed activity.

Generically one can say that the work can be both physical and theoretical, depending on what you plan to do also with the counter parties with whom we would work from time to time and especially with the motivation and ability of the voluntary / a. They could be physical activities if done more volunteering in De Amicitia and the people, while if colaborásemos with Environmental Education Centers and Rascafría The squadron or other authorities, we would bring out more research work, training and sharing of best practices with center operators.
