Analysis and evaluation of information technology used in personnel management

Working places of employees Alpha LLC are equipped with standard and special software. Standard software include:. ABBYY FineReader 7.0 Professional Edition (program to scan documents), ABBYY Lingvo 10 Multilingual Dictionary (dictionary), Haali Reader CE 2.0 (program for reading text files), Java(TM) 6 Update 2 (module to display online information), Microsoft Office, Opera 9.51 (browser), Punto Switcher 2.9 (automatic switch keyboard language), SoundMAX (sound drivers), The Bat! (Professional Edition) (mail system), Kaspersky Antivirus 6.0 (program to find and destroy viruses), WinRAR (program for archiving files), HP LaserJet 3050/3052 3.0 (printer software).

Special software includes: Liga:Law (ukr. «Ліга:Закон» regulatory framework of the laws of Ukraine), used by the organization's management, legal department and HR manager, «1С: Accounting 7.7», used by accountants «1С: Payroll and Personnel 7.7 Pro», which is used by HR Manager.

«1С: Payroll and Personnel 7.7 Pro», intended for payroll and personnel records, can be used both in self-supporting enterprises in Ukraine and in the organizations with budget financing. It allows not only to automate the payroll but also to organize staff accounting, register office movements and receive any reporting documents.

The key features of the program «1С: Payroll and Personnel 7.7 Pro» :

3) Accounting of hours worked;

4) Automation of personnel accounting and personnel schedule;

5) A variety of customizable configurations;

Employee satisfaction significantly affects the employee turnover, so you need to find out the level of satisfaction with the program. Index of employee satisfaction with software allows us to understand how satisfied is staff with various parameters of the program.

Therefore the company conducted a survey of employees. For the survey a questionnaire with the scale of evaluation of functionality of the program was used. Functionality evaluated: personnel records, records of working time, payroll and reporting. For processing the results for each evaluation criteria were given the corresponding numeric value - coefficient: fully satisfied (+1,0); satisfied (+0,5); difficult to say (0,0); dissatisfied (-0,5); fully dissatisfied (-1,0).

The overall index of satisfaction with the program «1С: Payroll and Personnel 7.7 Pro» is -0.122, which means employees’ dissatisfaction with the program. «1С: Payroll and Personnel 7.7 Pro» implements only the regulated accounting accruals, and there is no special module for accurals of incentive bonuses, usual for modern commercial and industrial enterprises. Not perfect mechanism of recording the working time of individual schedules. Personnel management tools, such as certification, training, employment, planning of vacations, recruitment and other opportunities unfortunately also were not implemented. There is no powerful analytical reporting subsystem that would include reports on lists of employees, the movement of workers and a diagram of vacations. This program ensures the standard set functions but in response to the growing challenges in the field of personnel management, Alpha LLC decided to move to a new software product.
