Dear participant,

As a part of my IB Psychology Internal Assessment, I am carrying out a study of perception. This study is going to test how will you judge people by the first time you see them. After the briefing, I would ask you to sign the statement below:

· I have been informed about the nature of the experiment

· I understand that I have the right to withdraw from the experiment at any time, and that any information/data about me will remain confidential

· My anonymity will be protected as my name will not be identifiable

· The experiment will be conducted so that I will not be demeaned in any way

· I will be debriefed at the end and have the opportunity to find out the results

(Instruction sheet condition A)

1. Please come in and take a sit at any of the tables

2. If at any point in this experiment you wish to withdraw yourself or your results please let me know

3. You will be required to watch a video with the interview of a teacher from Lyceum 10 of Perm which is 2.37 minutes long

4. (Show the video)

5. When you turn over the piece of paper you will be given five minutes to complete the following task

6. If you finish early, please remain seated and silent

7. (Time five minutes)

8. Please put your pens down and place your answers upside down on the edge of the table

9. Thank you very much for participating in my experiment, now you may leave.
