Imperatives ask or tell people to do something. They vary from strict commands to polite requests.
Imperatives consist just of verbs in their Infinitive/Simple form:
Do it! or Don't do it!
Use imperatives in your algorithm!
and
Don't be afraid of mistakes!
You want to make an imperative sentence? First take an infinitive of the necessary command verb and forget about particle to. Then place it in the beginning of the sentence. After that add all the necessary objects. And here you are – your imperative is ready!

In your algorithm you can just list the actions using numbers, like we did it in our task:

It's a good way to save space and time of your readers.

It might happen that in some situations when you know the right way to behave you just have not enough authority to express commands or orders. The best way to communicate then is to use polite or indirect advice. The following expressions serve as examples of these:
