1. Goals of the championship:

ü Strengthening friendship relationships with Kyokushinkai karate IKO Matsushima organization.

ü Development- popularization Kyokushinkai Karate.

Location and date of the event

Championship will be held on May 28, 2016 in Tbilisi, Dighomi, 5 Beliashvili st., Judo Academy.

5. Categories by weight and age:

ü I.K.O Matsushima clubs can participate in the tournament.

ü Athletes from 8 to 18year will be allowed to attend the tournament.

8 - 9 year: 10-11 year:

- 25 kg; - 30 kg;

- 30 kg; - 35 kg;

- 35 kg; - 40 kg;

+ 35 kg; + 40 kg;

12-13 year: 14-15 year:

-35 kg; - 50 kg;

- 40 kg; - 55 kg;

- 45 kg; - 60 kg;

+45 kg; +60 kg;;

16-17 year:

-55 kg

-60 kg;

-65 kg;

-70 kg;

+70 kg;

• The amount of sportsmen in a team is not limited
• In order to participate in the championship clubs have to pay 20$ per sportsman to mandate commission.
• For the weighing the head of the club should present the document containing the information about sportsmen approved by the doctor (with signature and seal.)
• Those clubs who want to participate should report their acceptance until May 1.
• Those sportsmen who want to participate in championship should have white karate gi, a belt responding to his/her qualification, groin protector, leg protector, gloves and helmet.

6. Awarding:

ü Awarding places I, II and two III;

ü Sportsmen, who will take one of these places will get special Diplomas.

Rules of the competition

• The tournament is held according to international rules of Kyokushinkai karate.

Selective fights:

Age of 8-9: 1.5 min + weighing (the lighter wins)

Age of 10-11: 1.5 min + weighing (the lighter wins)

Age of 12-13: 2min + weighing (the lighter wins)

Age of 14-15: 2min+1min+ weighing (difference in weight 1 kg)

Age of 16-17: 2min+1min + weighing (difference in weight 2 kg)

Semifinal and final fights:

Age of 8-9: 1,5min+1min+weighing (difference in weight 1kg) + 1 min

Age of 10-11: 1,5min+1min+weighing (difference in weight 1kg) + 1 min

Age of 12-13: 2min+1min+weighing (difference in weight 2kg) + 1min

Age of 14-15: 2min+1min+weighing (difference in weight 2kg) + 1min

Age of 16-17: 2min+1min+weighing (difference in weight 2kg) + 1min

-Ipon- Pure winning

-Two Wazar, in spite of the time

- One Wazar, after time expiration.

-In case of disqualification or not appearing the rival (being late 3min),the winner will be the second athlete.

-During the fighting, if the first athlete hits the rival and causes him to halt, which was caused by hard hit, Wazar will be given to the mode maker.

-If the fighter can not continue after 5 seconds, Ipon will be given to the rival.

-If one of the athletes can make pure hit in the head with a leg, that will cause the nod of the head of the rival or losing the balance, Wazar will be given to the athlete who made the mode .

-In case of ending with draw, the winner will be that athlete whose weight is less(difference in 2kg).

,If there is no difference in the weight one minute is added, after that the jury will decide ,taking into account difficult methods, activeness of the athlete and penalty points.

-If one of the fighter has a warning, in case of the ending the fighting the winner will be the rival.

-In case making the forbidden kick, by which the rival gets heavy trauma and the guilty athlete will get the disqualification Sik-Kaku.

- Impolite behaviors from fans that turns into rude actions in a jury’s functions by insulting and etc, the athlete is punished with official warning. In case it’s repeated, athlete gets Sik-Kaku.

-Judges will be appointed by the representatives of the teams, after which no protest will be discussed on the outcomes of the fight.

-All the leaders of the clubs must present the agreement from the parents in order for the sportsmen to participate in the competition.

-Organization is not responsible for the trauma and calamities.
