General provisions

1.1. The 3^rd International Multimedia Photo Installations Festival “White Wall Color” (hereinafter - the Festival) is held July 22, 2016, in the city of Pskov Days in the area of “Dvor Podznoyeva” hotel – and restaurants complexes.

During the Festival a range of works by photographers from Pskov and foreign regions are presented on big white walls late in the evening and at night. Almost all photography genres are presented: landscape, art-photo, portrait, mobilography. Application deadline: June 10, 2016

1.2. Participants are at liberty to choose any theme. Works promoting violence, terror, pornography, drugs.

Aims of the Festival

• Promotion of spiritual and cultural values, uniqueness and identity of people from Russia and foreign countries as well as preservation of cultural heritage of by means of photography art;

• Promotion of creative photography enthusiasts and professionals from cities of the Hanseatic League;

• Encouraging community of photographers from Pskov and cities of the Hanseatic League to prepare for the festival, experience exchange;

• Positive image formation of Pskov region and cities of the Hanseatic League by means of photography, cultural development of cities of the Hanseatic League, promotion of trade and tourism;

• Providing conditions for creative interaction with photographers from different countries.

Festival Organisation

4.1. Festival organizing Committee provides organization and conduction of the festival, determination its location, program, solution of financial and economic issues.

Competences of the Committee are:

Finding funds for Festival conduction;

Finding persons and organizations involved in the development and implementation of Festival program

Organization of advertising campaign;

Monitoring and control at all Festival stages.

4.2. Festival Partners have a right to establish special prizes and gifts for participants of the Festival.

4.3. Participants and guests of the Festival obey rules and regulations which are in force at the territory of monuments of culture and architecture.

4.5. The Festival takes place at the open air territory of culture and architecture monuments during the night time. Walls of the building are used as a projection screen, which is carried out with the use of acoustic projectors and lighting equipment.

The show is performed to the accompaniment of background music. Demonstrations preceded by a short biography of the author.

Participants of the Festival

4.1. Photographers from Russia and foreign countries, including the cities of the Hanseatic League may participate in the Festival.

Participation procedure

6.1. For participation in the Festival, please, submit an application form indicating the author's name, country of residence, name of photo-club. Application form marked "PHOTO FESTIVAL. HANSA-2016. " should be sent to the e-mail address: ocnt-pskov@yandex.ru

6.2. One participant can submit no more than thirty photographs.
File requirements: TIFF or JPEG format (compression 10-12), size of 3000 pixels on the long side. It is recommended to use the name of a photograph in the name of the file, as well as to determine the sequence of photos for a demonstration. It is recommended (but not required) to find suitable music accompaniment to series of photos. Sound file requirements: Wave or MP3.

6.3. For providing promotional products and introducing the author photo and selected biography (focused on photo - and creative activities of the author) should be attached to an application from.

6.4. Organizers have a right to determine sequence of works and participating in the festival program.

6.5. The organizers ensure that all rights are reserved, all the works of art will be used for festival advertising and only for non-commercial purposes. All other proposals should be accepted by the authors. After the Festival information booklet publication is planned. Organizers have the right to use photographs presented at the Festival, indicating author’s name, titles, place of residence while compiling the booklet.

6.5. Festival participants will be awarded diplomas and souvenirs.
