Introduction

For the past 11 years, I got used to my life schedule. It has been made a habit to make all things everyday, every month, every year. Then one day, during the morning when I came to University, I saw posters of “Open house day every where in our University for freshman’s”, which grabbed my attention. I decided to go after classes. There were lots of student’s like me, who were shy and did not know whom to speak. Presentations were made one after another and the turn came to student organizations. All freshmen made circle and listened to their speeches carefully. It was seen that students enjoyed their presentation and wanted to join them and when they gave turn to get in, everyone ran to registration area and signed in the registration form. Indeed, I was curious and decide to join too. I liked one Organization called “Be green, be amazing”. As I was a person, who worries about environment, I found it amazing. After, every student joined the organization they chose and were informed about their upcoming projects. Later, we were asked to share our ideas on how to organize the event.

It has been 2 years, since, I’m working on this organization and we made lot of different projects inside the university and outside. For sure, I can say that we implemented all the projects we planned and it went very good. Working at “Be green, be amazing” organization changed me a lot and I gained lot of experience, got more close to my University, made different friends with same interests and many others. Lot of students say that it takes lot of time, but me and other fewest people involved in different college organization contradict it. This report will explain about student’s involvement in organization and define the reasons for getting involved or not involved.

Ohio University defines the term “student organization” as: “association created for any educational purpose that supports the vision and goals of the university set forth in the Academic Plan and the Diversity Action Plan. Means, that student organization is a group, which consists of all students and they create the organization with different purposes like economic, educational, environmental, music, fashion, politics and etc. All these purposes aim is to improve the quality (service) of University and at the same time find and develop lot of skills in you. Some universities are so worried about the student and want to help them find themselves, what they want to be in future that they prepared quizzes. Questions are asked such that help student to think of his/her interests and make decision which job will fit well for them.

According to these interests they can easily choose organization and work on it. Once, person gets into the group, he meets people that have same interest like him/her and become friends. Together with the group they will seek for issues/ problems students face in the University or outside it and try to find solutions. While, working on these issues person will conclude what he liked and what he disliked. All this will help the person begin thinking about positioning himself/herself for future employment. In case, you face any difficulties you can contact your new friends or colleagues who will help you or forward you to the person who is responsible for that job and like this you get familiar with everyone and everything. Julie Mayfield (2011) supports this view by saying: “Colleges are full of resources, but the responsibility is on the student to seek them out. Being involved in organizations helps them to do that.”

It is well known for everyone that learning goes beyond the class. That is why students join different organization in order to improve their leadership skills, work on team projects, develop personality and finally spend student life amazingly with lot of memories. Every organization has its mission and reaching it can be difficult from first sight but working with friendly team workers who know their responsibilities makes it easy. If, we try to count organizations through out the world it will be not possible because there are lot of them. Making it simpler, we will focus on Kazakhstan organizations, specifically KIMEP University student organizations but comparing with other university will also be made. Research questions are: Why should college students get involved with student organizations? Will the experience be worth to spend time on student organization? If yes, what exactly? How to manage time for study and social activities at the same time? What are some of the skills student should possess being involved in organization? Why students do and do not participate in undergraduate/graduate student organizations at the University of KIMEP? What are the characteristics that are most highly correlated with participation in student organizations? Which strategies are for improving student participation in undergraduate/graduate student organizations?

To answer all these questions we will take sample of 100 KIMEP students involved in different University organizations. For this research will be used two methods. First method, is conducting surveys among students, who are already involved in organizations to know what experience they got during the time of being organizers and also those who do not want to join find the reasons. Second method, is taking interview from Aigerim Ibrayeva who is Executive Director of Student Affairs Office of the Executive Director and I decided to interview Leonid Nigmatullin, ex-president of KIMEP PIE college student organization.

It is known that KIMEP University students are very active in student life. In order to be absolutely sure that the participation rate is high the research will find out the exact statistics of students involvement. Moreover, it will define the characteristics that are most highly correlated with participation in student organizations.

It is expected that more than 80% of students surveyed will be involved in any organizations and they will prove that experience they got is worth to spend time on it.

In addition it will be known from the interview detail information about the students’ organization, how many are there in KIMEP? Why they were organized? Which problems students faced and how Students Affairs tried to solve them. Before searching all these mentioned above will be defined some information that is already known about the topic.

Literature review

Student organizations were found even before twentieth century and were considered as the best opportunity for students to develop their social skills. The amount of students who are involved in this kind of extracurricular activities increases every year. The reason is laid upon opening new choices, developing skills and providing better services. At the same time, student organizations are divided into two groups: long-term and short-term. Long-term projects last for several years and the main focus of these projects is on the issues that are considered as the most difficult ones. In this case, difficult issues are known as the problems which concern everyone in the world and are not fully solved. The example can be the problem of unemployment. And short time projects are those which pick one branch of big problems and solve them in a short period. Short period projects are also defined as seasonality programs. Seasonality programs include events or activities which are relevant to conduct only in a certain time. For instance, camps are good to carry out only in summer season, because both students with facilitators are free to work in a good weather conditions. In addition, out-cleaning day’s projects are also better to implement in hot sunny days. Simultaneously, short term projects are divided into subgroups and these smaller groups have emerged from the pre-existing larger organizations, providing students with more opportunities to find their niche (Andring, 2002).A lot of discussions and debates were devoted to the topic of contribution of students in organizations and it is still ongoing. No one denies that the involvement of students in organizations is greater is western countries than in Asians. The statistic shows that 78.3% of European students are active in the social life of their Universities, while the percentage of Asian students makes 21.9%. This proves that Europeans are more sociable and well prepared for teamwork. This research will have a focus on benefits of students’ contribution in organization, as well the negative sides. Moreover, it will define KIMEP students’ organization success.

Advantages

Students’ life is full of fun and entertainment and these are directly connected to the one factor which is student himself. All parties and competitions are conducted by students and the more they contribute in social life of their university the more unbelievable their students’ years will go further. As well students get benefits from this kind of involvement and one of those is the help in deciding future career. According to Patterson (2012), employers primarily value competence in communication, adaptability, problem-solving and teamwork skills. Several studies emphasize the empirical link between participating in student organizations and students’ development of leadership skills (Dugan, 2011; Thompson, 2006; Renn and Bilodeau, 2005). These desired skills are often introduced in an academic setting such as in the classroom while they are reinforced in extracurricular activities such as student organizations (Patterson, 2012).

Students can volunteer in any department of their University and get the basic knowledge of their decided future profession. KIMEP University provides this opportunity for all students and of course after meeting all the requirements and passing successfully the interview, students here get a part time job. It also develops students’ management skills; because students know how to manage their time, so they do not miss classes and are prepared for them. In addition, students know better about their University and specifically about their organization. And it makes them more responsible towards their University.

Nowadays’ students are tend to think that it is cool be a part of organizational groups and try to do everything to achieve that, yet five-six years ago it wasn’t as cool. Then people thought that only the most active and smart ones are able to be a part of them. Nowadays, no one thinks like that. Everyone knows that only due to these organizations they can develop the variety of skills. In KIMEP University there are more than 20 students’ organizations which are really active in social life of KIMEP. Some of them are KADA, KSA, Be green be amazing and etc. All of them focus on different aspects, but the special one that is Unity, they all have. It is natural that students who are active in social life of University are responsible and are good listeners. These two factors makes them good team worker and we know that team-working skills is appreciated in every company. More than 10 Stand Up projects were conducted last year(2014) by Kimep Friends Association. In these programs students shared their experiences of life and listen to other ones. Leadership Workshop projects were carried out as well. The last one was in May 2015 between leaders of each organizations and freshmen student. KIMEP Students’ Association revealed that 47% of students are members or volunteers in University Organizations. And this amount is increasing each year because of two factors: Administration allocates more money for students’ organization; and the amount of students who want to join extremely increases.

Leadership behavior analysis suggests that the more students are involved in student organizations the more likely they are to develop strong leadership skills and behaviors. Such experience is invaluable in helping students develop a skill set they can use in the real world. Employers want and value competence in communication, adaptability, problem-identification and problem-solving, self-management, teamwork, and leadership skills (Schieman, 2006) . This student organizational experience plays an important role in developing leadership within its membership (Lloyd, 1996). Developing competencies in knowledge creation, community and practical application, promoting a sharing of ideas, skills and that talents are reflective individualized and group leadership development and (Locke, 2001).

By using inventories such as the LPI, CALS students could benefit by receiving high quality leadership instruction through educational programs and classroom curriculum that has the potential to broaden their leadership behaviors which also promotes opportunities to increase their personal growth, and enhance their academic career success (Bolton, 2004).

Negative outcomes from students involvement in organization

Although it is difficult to ignore the overwhelming evidence that student involvement enhances the overall college experience and the development of transferable skills for undergraduate students, there is a widely held belief that student organizations require too much time (Huang & Chang, 2004; Mehus, 1932). Researchers debate that the time student spend on the society work will draw them off from academic work and it will last on either fail from courses or warning on expel from University. Indeed, student involved in extracurricular activities will be always busy on working on the projects and when time will come to prepare for exams it will be too late. Getting low grades will discourage him/her from interest to study and time will be devoted just on working under certain projects. Plus, low grades will not allow participating in different competitions among students and apply on good job. This scary student from becoming involved in campus activities, which lead to miss the opportunities to receive different other benefits of belonging to an organization. Probable right, it cause fear, no one wants the time spent for getting degree be useless. Why useless is because if, person will not have time for study and most probably will fail courses and need to retake them otherwise he/she will not receive diploma.

In addition, person will learn and gain experience just by becoming involved but it is not enough. First, it should be learned all theories and scientific facts and after that all theories learned should be implement into practice. Furthermore, if any problems will be faced while working on any projects will affect psychologically person. This will result on having sad mood and not having fun with friends. Spending less time with friends and relatives will bring to misunderstanding on relationships.

The level of student involvement has been well chronicled in the research literature. For example, McCannon and Bennet (1996) surveyed a total of 813 students from two colleges in Georgia. They found that approximately 83% of students did not belong to a student organization that was affiliated with their major. The most common reasons reported on the survey for this lack of participation was the student had no time to participate in an organization due to job responsibilities or was not aware of any student organization related to their major field.

Researchers have defined how students become weak and how they get strong. Some are against their involvement in projects and they explained the reasons why do they think so, while other researchers are for their contribution with their strong arguments. Student being involved in organization is common thing because every day person face with problems and that is why all these projects are made to decrease the issues. Because of lack of time, this research will focus on Kazakh people, especially on KIMEP University student’s organizations, how they are involved. The research will find out the statistics, how many of the students organizations exist, how they were found, what ways they thought to help to solve the problems or what is the aim of each organization. Accordingly above mentioned arguments were just about students in America and Europe but about Asian, especially Kazakhstani people there was no any source found. For finding information about Kazakhstani, specifically KIMEP students will be used questioning them by distributing surveys to them. That will give answer for the primary research and will clarify how students organizations work? For more detail information can be asked interview from Aigerim Ibrayeva who works in KIMEP Students Affairs .

Methodology and results

Being an understudy starts things out, yet discovering your place outside the classroom can likewise make ready to graduation. Indeed, being just a student is every person destiny, everyone passes through this period, but finding yourself in life, who you are and whom you will become after graduating is all upon your choices, wishes, desires and ever steps you make. Without doubt, it is hard to decide for most people to choose profession, because they do not know their abilities, which are hide inside. There is always someone from other side, who shows you your talents and abilities and persuades sometimes you to make appropriate choice to achieve the pleasure. Some people are so withdrawn that they are too shy to tell someone about themselves and usually parents of like these children contact doctors, psychologist. Probably, it is good experts in their field always help and advice but not always this works.

First reason, person may get angry and think he is count as psycho or have definitely some problems and that is why he/she doesn’t shares even with doctor about him. Second reason, some parents do not believe in their children abilities and pressure on them, from these lessons children will be for sure withdrawn. They may even tell doctor about this and asks to recommend for their children those things, which they want for him/her. For sure, parents can be understood, they worry of their child and do not want him/her to make mistakes but instead they ruin everything.

Every person should be free of choice and decide himself/herself what to do. No one is immune to mistakes, they always happen and teach us to become better and better, improving our self and not letting mistakes happen again. All people know it. Every instructor is first of all psychologist and he/she knows his student from the way they speak and act. Except instructors in every school, college and University there is psychologist, to whom address all with their problems. KIMEP University is not exception, it has expert psychologists who always organize meeting with students and talk to them. All of them are familiar with students. Except them KIMEP has Student Affairs, where you can address with all problems, questions and suggestions. Student affairs try their best to make KIMEP students life saturated and because of this they always organize events and open new different organizations for students to be involved. As the research aim was to know about KIMEP student involvement in organizations, first was asked interview from the director of Student Affairs. “We make our best for students to have unforgettable moments and memories from their student life and that is why we make various clubs and organization for them, some students even come with their new ideas, present it and the committee decides to allow them or not”, says Executive Director of Student Affairs, Aigerim Ibraeva. For the question, what they will gain in being involved in the organizations?, she claims: “It's demonstrated that the individuals who are included are really more satisfied and improve at school than the individuals who are not, the individuals, who are included are less on edge, less pushed, have better GPAs, better self-regard . They simply feel better by being associated and being included." She adds, “there are about 4000 understudy associations on grounds, all giving a fun and remarkable route for understudies to feel joined with their college. “As an executive director of Student Affairs I have noticed that, there are numerous motivations to join an understudy bunch while learning at KIMEP: First, create initiative, administration and authoritative abilities; second, fabricate your résumé; third, be social ("Enjoy being with other individuals who trust or like the same things you do,".) and forth, achieve academic success. Absolutely true, it's an extraordinary approach to get encounter and figure out how to verbalize your feelings and how to really have any kind of effect. Rather than simply feeling a sure route around an issue, you can really roll out improvements in your group and in the state, even across the nation. Aigerim noticed that KIMEP is completely keep running by understudies needing to have any kind of effect. She urges anybody with thoughts to come and voice their worries. After taking interview from Aigerim Ibraeva, and I prepared second interview to collect information for my research paper. It is primary research, so it is going to give a proper answer to my topic question: “How college student organizations could change students’ lives?” I decided to interview Leonid Nigmatullin, ex-president of KIMEP PIE college student organization. Earlier I mentioned him in the introduction. He is a real expert and he succeeded in this field. Leonid Nigmatullin has already graduated from KIMEP University. Even now most of the students remember him and his achievements. He made sensational changes to college student organizations not only in KIMEP but also in other universities in terms of competition. In my opinion, he is a best choice for my interview. Fortunately, he agreed to my request to take an interview. Leonid Nigmatullin shared his opinion about college student organizations and the opportunities they give. All the information he gave me is very valuable and important because he was one of the first to bring college student organizations to KIMEP University. Here are the contents of my interview:

Aigerim Talip: As I know, you are the ex-president of KIMEP PIE organization. What did it bring to you?

Aigerim Talip: KIMEP PIE gave me a lot of good things. It is rather difficult for me to imagine my life without it. I would not have possibly achieved what I have now. There were a lot of opportunities to discover, to show myself. For example, when you graduate from high school and go to college, you try to do different stuff. You just want to find yourself, things that your soul would be ok with. The most important thing is that KIMEP PIE gave me a good experience. Friendship and mutual understanding are also things people gain in college student organization involvement.

Aigerim Talip: How are student organizations important?

Leonid Nigmatullin: College student organizations make students’ life brighter and more interesting. It is important to have 4 or 5 wonderful years full of fun and fancy.

Aigerim Talip: What are the pros and cons of college organization involvement?

Leonid Nigmatullin: College student organizations can give a lot of opportunities. For example, huge experience, opportunities to implement ideas related to your organization mission, gain and develop leadership skills and self-esteem. Also it would be useful to your CV. Meanwhile it has disadvantages like shortage of time, bad academic performance and stresses. In my opinion, every one of us should pass through these extracurricular activities. Stop doing nothing, take a thought to how you can change our future.

Aigerim Talip: Do you remember how you started doing this organizational work?

Leonid Nigmatullin: Of course I remember how it all started. When we developed the “KIMEP PIE”, people were interested. It looked like, "Well, the magazine appeared and this is it. And what would be next?” Then there were needs to find good advertisers, to communicate with people who are unfamiliar to you. Each magazine needs interesting and unusual individuals to attract readers. So, our first task was to find such kinds of people. It worked, but then we were faced with another problem: these characters showed up. Because of this we learned how to write interesting articles about uninteresting people. It was a good experience for me and for my team. Later we started doing parties. First parties took place in the Fun Club, but we never stopped developing. Today parties are hold in Royal Tulip and other fashionable places of entertainment.

Aigerim Talip: Did you have a misunderstanding with your friends and family?

Leonid Nigmatullin: Of course I did. My friends and family were speaking in one voice, “Why are you doing this? Why do you need it? You need to do more serious things.”They explained to me that this is just student life. Then, it would finish after my graduation from the university.

But I didn’t listen to them and showed real results of my work. Now all of them are proud of me.

Never give up and you will succeed.

Aigerim Talip: How has this experience helped in your current work?

Leonid Nigmatullin: Today I am an editor of Boulevard magazine. It was my biggest dream when I was a child. It seemed to me that this is very interesting and respectable. But when you have worked for about two or three months, you realize that this is a huge responsibility, and there are a lot of things you should do by yourself. You realize that you need to be very careful in controlling the entire process. You should be able to communicate with the team, it is important to find a key to the team. Almost everything depends on how the command works. I'm probably just a good manager.

Aigerim Talip: Did you study journalism at KIMEP?

Leonid Nigmatullin: Actually I didn’t study journalism at KIMEP, but I know that the journalist is sitting somewhere in my soul. My major is marketing and management is my double major. But KIMEP constantly gave me power to go ahead and to get success in doing something creative. I thank you, KIMEP, for the fact that it gives an opportunity for students to develop and find the sphere of activity in which people would be nice.

Aigerim Talip: What would you recommend for freshman students?

Leonid Nigmatullin: I would like to wish people bravery. Earning money should not be the only wish of people. I recommend people to do something good for society, maybe try to make your product, think of how to make your business good, attractive and profitable. I believe that people always would need self-development. They need to open their minds, to read more books, to watch documentary movies or simply to go to some master classes, just don’t stop improving yourself. This is not a problem if you haven’t got an opportunity to study abroad; there are a lot of opportunities here, in Kazakhstan. For example, at KIMEP you can talk to a teacher and ask "How can I improve my course performance? ", and he or she always will help you with advice.

Interview with Leonid Nigmatullin was interesting and rather helpful for my project work. His answers were clear, and he explained all the opportunities student organizations provide. After interview I understood that involvement in college student organizations gives not only a personal development, but also helps to find a well-paid job. Many employers are looking for well-rounded candidates with extra-curricular activities. This is the topic students should think of.

Sometimes, an interview is not enough, so I prepared a survey that had some questions on how extracurricular activities change students’ lives. I decided to make a survey among 50 people. I prepared 7 questions, which in my opinion would be relevant to my work. The answers were different from what I expected them to be. Some students’ answers were absolutely different from my point of view. I analyzed their answers, and it helped me to add some new information to my research paper. The first part of my survey is about the respondents’ personal lives. The personal questions are very important for this report because they help to analyze all answers of the person. First, I tried to divide all responses by their age and gender.

1)What is your age?

· 16-17

· 18-19

· 20-21

· 22 or more

Most people of age 18-19 took part in my survey. Less people were of age 20-21.The main reason could be that the survey was made among college students. People of different ages have rather different opinions and thoughts. For example, freshman students have a big desire to participate in extra-curricular activities. Students of the second and third years are full of homework and actually do not have enough time for this stuff.

2)What is your gender?

· Male

· Female

The purpose of the second question was to get information about participants that would help me in analyzing the survey.

3)Do you want to be involved in KIMEP student organizations? If yes, to what organization?

· Yes

· No

The results were rather interesting. 82% of people said that they want to be involved to extracurricular activities at KIMEP. Students wanted to be members of such college student organizations as KIMEP PIE, KIMEP Friends, KADA and KASD. At the same moment 18%did not have the same desire.

4)How do you evaluate the performance of KIMEP college student organization?

· 1

· 2

· 3

· 4

· 5

Most of the surveyed people 93% highly evaluated the work of KIMEP student organizations, while approximately 5% less highly evaluated it and another 5% absolutely dissatisfied with their work.

5)What can organizations give?

· New friends

· New ideas

· Good experience

· Love

· Loss of time

· Other,____________

40% of people said that organizations can give a good experience, 28% - new friends, 15% - new ideas, 12% - love and 3% - loss of time. A small portion of people shared their own ideas like leadership skills, skills for how to work in a team, low GPA and etc.

6)Extracurricular activities at KIMEP are higher than in other universities:

· Strongly agree

· Agree

· Neutral

· Disagree

· Strongly disagree

23% of people strongly agreed with my statement, while 50% agreed, 19% stayed neutral and 8% disagreed. The most interesting fact is that no one has chosen the answer “strongly disagree”, so it means they agree that student life at KIMEP is at the right level.

7)What do you want to change in college student organizations in KIMEP?

· To make events more often

· Bring events out within the walls of the university

· Nothing, everything is on a right level

· All the college student organizations should be closed because they affect the students performance

53% of people have an opinion that events should be held more often. After quizzes and midterms students want to have a rest and fun. So, these events were made to be on balance with study and entertainment. 25% of people think that extracurricular activities at KIMEP don’t need any improvements. 17% have an idea to enlarge the opportunities of college student organizations. They think that it will have a benefit outside KIMEP. 5% have a strong opinion of closing these organizations because they affect studying performance.

The results show that college student organizations involvement has a positive influence on students’ lives. Many students want to be members of such clubs and organizations. So, it means that they understand all the possibilities extracurricular activities give. For example, participation in the work of college student organizations provides students an opportunity to acquire leadership, planning, and social skills that are important for successful living. As the Chen Grace describes (2012), clubs and extra-curricular activities are “extremely important in helping students develop lifelong good working habits. Students involved in extra-curricular activities learn how to work as part of a team towards a common goal. Students also learn valuable character traits such as pride, productivity, and organization.”

Conclusion

University life is the most critical time of our life. It is free from considerations and tensions. Student gets into different world in University. University life takes in numerous things from books. In any case, he needs to enter this present reality after graduation from the college. Thus, he needs commonsense information of things. Understudy life readies a man to lead an effective life. The most essential thing is to pick the college you will feel great in. Our administration offers diverse colleges with created arrangement of training. From every one of these colleges was prescribed KIMEP University. It gives respectable information and at the same minute gives an open door for understudies to have a rest. Student life at KIMEP is surely understood even outside the college. Student associations make a climate of stimulation and flexibility. Extracurricular movement association gives trust in student life, gives a chance to take an interest in grounds and group life and gives a mental gloat (Montelongo, 2002). KIMEP University incorporates more than 30 student associations. They are scholarly clubs, game groups, philanthropy associations and clubs that advance individual and aggregate inventive acknowledgment of the person. Research revealed that the most active KIMEP University student organizations are: KIMEP PIE, KIMEP Friends, KADA, KASD, KSA, KIMEP Legal Clinic, KIMEP Times, KIMEP SWAG and etc. All these organizations have various interests and goals.

Research was scanning for various articles to figure out how understudy associations can change student life. A large portion of them were about distinctive clubs in the colleges around the globe. However, it discovered a dependable article, where the writer plainly speaks to what student associations are and how they change student' lives. A standout amongst the most intriguing things is that they give individual experience you will never go anyplace. In any case, the outcomes demonstrate that they change the entire existence of understudies, who are included in undergrad associations. They give a chance to open up and to demonstrate your solid sides, furthermore they get ready youthful understudies for genuine after graduation from the college (Montelongo, 2002).

In spite of the fact that it is hard to overlook the mind-boggling confirmation that understudy inclusion upgrades the general school experience and the advancement of transferable aptitudes for college understudies, there is a broadly held conviction that understudy associations require an excessive amount of time (Huang and Chang, 2004; Mehus, 1932).

This primary research was looking for KIMEP University organizations, how active are students. It used two methods: surveys were distributed among 50 students and interview was taken from Aigerim Ibrayeva who is Executive Director of Student Affairs Office of the Executive Director . It was expected that making appointment with Aigerim will be impossible because she is busy, but fortunately it was easy and she was very kind in answering to the questions. Aigerim said that during her work at KIMEP as director of Student Affairs she concluded that: “It's demonstrated that the individuals who are included are really more satisfied and improve at school than the individuals who are not, the individuals, who are included are less on edge, less pushed, have better GPAs, better self-regard . They simply feel better by being associated and being included."

I decided to second interview KIMEP University alumni, Leonid Nigmatullin. Leonid Nigmatullin is a real master in journalism. He kindly shared with me with his previous experience working in the KIMEP PIE organization. Leonid Nigmatullin spoke about all the difficulties he faced at early periods when the organization was developing. Nevertheless, he said that he got a great experience in how to contact people, how to lead the organization, how to make different events and etc.

As the second method was survey, it was distributed not only to those student who are involved in student clubs or organizations but it was also distributed to those students who are not member of any organization and simply do not want to join it later too. It found out that students literally being involved in extracurricular activities are very satisfied and do not regret of joining their organizations. Indeed, student life is full of fun and entertainment and these are directly connected to the one factor which is student himself. All parties and competitions are conducted by students and the more they contribute in social life of their university the more unbelievable their students’ years will go further. As well students get benefits from this kind of involvement and one of those is the help in deciding future career. Student said that they developed their communication skills, adaptability, problem-solving, leadership, teamwork skills and many others.

In the beginning when the research was not started, it was expected that more than 80% of students surveyed will be involved in any organizations and they will prove that experience they got is worth to spend time on it. Indeed, expectation got true because students are more than satisfied with their work.

Vince Lombardi says that : “The achievements of an organization are the results of combined effort of each individual”. Absolutely right, KIMEP students all combined and tried to do their best to achieve their goals and they succeed every time that is why they are known everywhere.

For future, if any student will wish to make research on this topic, it is recommended to focus on the uninvolved students. It should be found fully every reason and try to address to the Executive director so that she can solve it. If they all will join organizations they will overcome all the difficulties later on if they face something because they already have experience.
