ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear colleagues!

We are pleased to invite you to the All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conference «V. M. Glushkov — pioneer of cybernetics», dedicated to 50-th anniversary of OGAS project (Statewide automated economy management system)

The core projects whichc will be discussed at the conference: OGAS (Viktor Glushkov, SSSR) and CyberSyn (Stafford Beer, Great Britain – Chile).

The reason is that creation of all-around management systems, such as Cybersyn and OGAS, would mean switching to the next stage of development not only in economy, but in society. Management with no place for corruption and unprofessionalism, reachable by everyone, not only by privileged, will become an impetus for a new society type organization.

Economic and mathematical methods of inter-industry balance (Input-Output model, W. W. Leontief, USA) and social effective strategy of economy (N. I. Veduta, SSSR) are also of great interest.

Conference will take place on 11 December 2014

Scientists, professors, PhD students and students are invited to participate in the conference. Based on the conference results, the information digest will be issued.

Conference languages: Ukrainian, Russian, English.

For participation in the conference, please, send the following documents to glushkovconf@ukr.netuntil24 November 2014:

1. Abstract, up to 3 pages; А4 size; right, left, top and bottom margins – 2 cm; font – Times New Roman, size 14 pt, spacing – 1.5. Report topic has to be written without using Caps Lock button.

Presence of electronic abstract version in MS Word doc or rtf format is compulsory (should be sent to the conference steering committee e-mail).

2. Application form, with the following information:

· Participant’s full name;

· Conference area of the report;

· Organization name, address;

· Position, academic degree (if applicable);

· Home address (with postal code);

· Contact phone number and e-mail;

· Need for housing (arrival and departure dates; approximate arrival time: morning, afternoon, evening);

· Inform, whether additional technical tools are needed for the speech.

Abstracts, which do not meet stated requirements, or sent without an application form, will not be considered.

Steering committee reserves the right to select abstracts according to conference areas and layout requirements. The author is responsible for the abstract content.

Note! Steering committee provides accommodation in dormitories only for participants who stated the need for housing in the application form (e.g. arrival: 10 December, morning; departure: 11 December, evening).

Registration fee is 150 UAH (without mailing the digest).

REGISTRATION FEE IS TO BE PAID ONLY AFTER RECEIVING AN INVITATION!

Payment information will be provided in an invitation e-mail after expertise of presented materials. Registration fee includes the costs of program materials and publication of conference information digest. Converting from foreign currencies will be made by National Bank of Ukraine exchange rate on the moment of payment. The scanned copy of payment receipt has to be sent to the steering committee’s e-mail.

Social programme, accommodation and food expenses are covered by participants’ own cost.

Participants, who were not able to come, but have paid a registration fee, can receive the conference information digest by post. Mailing price for one book inside Ukraine is 15 UAH, other countries – 120 UAH (cost of mailing, expendable materials).

Please,pay the registration fee no later than three weekdays after receiving an invitation, which will be sent according to the data in application form. Participants from foreign countries have a possibility to pay the registration fee during the registration or by postal transfer (the address will be stated in the invitation letter).
