The review «Horizon. Studies in Phenomenology» has been published at the Center for phenomenology and hermeneutics at the philosophical Faculty of the Saint-Petersburg State University as a reviewed scientific periodical since 2012. The review is biannual, all the texts being reviewed and selected by experts. The periodical is intended for specialists in phenomenology and philosophical hermeneutics as well as for all the readers interested in current philosophical discussions.

The goal of the review is to create and maintain common communicative space for researchers working in the field of phenomenology and philosophical currents which are affiliated to it.

The Advisory Boardis composed of such well-known (in Russia and abroad) specialists as N. Brosova (Russia), M. Gabel (Germany), H.-H. Gander (Germany), R. Gromov (Russia), J. Grondin (Canada), H. R. Sepp (Germany), S. Luft (USA), V. Molchanov (Russia), N. Motroshilova (Russia), K. Novotný (Czech republic), J. Orlova (Russia), A. Savin (Russia), Y. Slinin (Russia), L. Tengelyi (Germany), A. Haardt (Germany), M. Khorkov (Russia), A. Schnell (France).

The Editorial Boardcomprises the following members: G. Chernavin, A. Patkul, D. Razeev, F. Stanzhevskiy, K. Maidachenko. A. Kozyreva, D. Kononetc.

The structure of the review «Horizon. Studies in phenomenology» is as follows:

The first section«Research» – contains original articles. The texts published here may be written in Russian as well as in English, French and German, in the latter cases without translation into Russian.

The second section«Archive» – presents the translations of extracts from classical texts as well as those written by contemporary representatives of the Phenomenological current. All the translations are published with consent of copyright holders.

The third section «Discussions» – is composed of accounts on past events related to phenomenology.

The fourth section«Book reviews» – comprises comments or critical opinions on books and monographs on phenomenological themes published within the last 15 years.

The fifth section«Events» – contains announces of future events such as conferences, monographs, thesis defenses etc.

The editorial board of the review «Horizon. Studies in Phenomenology» invites all those interested to submit their texts in the afore-mentioned languages.

The editorial board of the review brings to the attention of the authors that the submission of their manuscripts implies transferring exclusive copyrights for their publications to the review. All the texts are published provided that the author accepts this condition. The review only publishes original articles and studies.

The review is sent to the leading university centers in Russia and in Europe.
