TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

The Main structure consists of an element realised with electrowelded and regulated sheet steel. On its upper side there is a plane surface properly machined for the cross slide mounting. The lower part has the support for the spindle cartridge and for the spindle motor.

The Spindle consists of an independent cartridge.

The spindle shaft rotates on high precision bearings, life lubricated, maintenance free. The power is transferred from the main motor with cog belts.

The axis spindle is LONG LIFE permanent lubricated with special grease. The group is complete with cylinder for the clamping equipment command. FEATURES

The Machining units consist of a cross slide made in cast iron.

The horizontal movement is obtained by travelling on the guideways integrated on the main frame. Induction hardened and ground ways are used for the vertical movements.

All axis movements are powered by A.C. servo motors and ball screws.

Positioning control of the axis is obtained by means of encoders integrated with the AC servo motors (option by glass scale).

The cross slide is equipped with a six position automatic turret.

The Electrical and electronic equipment consists of a sealed cabinet installed on the machine complete with all general electric components and heat exchanger. The cabinet contains all power units and A.C. servo motor controls.

A push-button panel with all controls such as CYCLE START - MANUAL - CYCLE STOP, etc. is placed on the front side of the machine with the CNC main panel

The machine main functions are located in a diagnostic system connected to the CNC. Messages are clearly written with a reference code allowing an easy reading on the operator’s manual for further information.

FEATURES:

Main voltage 400 V +6% -10% 50 Hz Auxiliary voltage 24 V C.C. CNC FANUC 21i, complete with interface, axis motor, spindle motor, drives, encoders, etc. all the components are made by the same supplier.

The Coolant plant is an integral part of the machine. It consists of a tank and a pump with a max capacity of

200 lt/min, 4 bar, complete with solenoid valve and pipes.

The Hydraulic equipment consists of a hydraulic unit connected to the machine through flexible pipes, for the command of the balancing cylinder of the vertical slide and for the movement of the hydraulic cylinder for the clamping equipment command.

All pipes are made with rigid hoses and fittings and with flexible hosed for high pressure.

The Lubrication plant works for the cross slide and for the ball bearings screws. The lubrication is automatic, controlled by volumetric system and lubrication control. A fault in the lubrication circuit system or in the control unit stops automatically the machine at the end of the cycle.

The Pneumatic plant. It includes the doors opening and the turret disc blocking.
