Intersectoral application range

The applications of ViFDAQ, which clearly extend beyond the automotive sector, range from wind turbines and industrial applications and processes to the medical sector (e.g. checking the functionality of hip joints). This small universal researcher is currently in use in research projects for force-moment-measurement and in a vehicle fleet to determine the driving parameters within the project VECEPT. In the near future, it will also be driven into a wall – specifically, in crash test trials in the field of material research.

Interest in this smart universal genius and useful tool is definitely high among the international research partners of the VIRTUAL VEHICLE, and more research projects are already being planned.

The experiences of INTECS in advanced technological developments led to the identification and implementation of some products used in new applications and advanced systems productions.
These products are carriers of experience and investment consolidated over the years in both research and industrial fields.

SIMIS
In the field of ITS the heterogeneity of products and formats often ends up tying the public authorities to choose a supplier and all the applications needed for the connection between the operations room and installed sensors. The public authorities often need to expand and manage their systems using an interface that makes available all the knowledge sources in a single framework. The SIMIS has been created with the aim of unbinding the world of sensors from the data processing and management systems.

· parking and flow sensors using proprietary technology, it is also possible the integration of commercial sensors and surveillance systems;

· a connection system among the centralized server and devices on the road, allowing the transport of information. Solutions are available through proprietary wireless network or telco operator;

· a middleware for the collection and storage of data in order to provide both real time and offline information;

· interface modules for integration with existing systems (eg VMS panels management, info by text message, heterogeneous data acquisition);

· a simulation engine for macro/meso traffic type that allows end user to develop and update real-time estimation of traffic flows over the entire area of interest;

· a set of services that can be scaled according to user needs: parking management, vehicle tracking, real-time flow sensing and statistical models;

· cartographic and textual interfaces that allow local and web access to the services.

TL-ER TechnoLabs Ethernet Repeater is a new system that can be used on existing Ethernet cabling to transparently drive Ethernet communications beyond the maximum permissible IEEE 802.3 Ethernet distance.Traditional 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet Networks utilize CAT5e copper cabling which has a distance limitations of 100 meters between geographically separated LANs

In the networks scenario EFAS can be used for:

  • Replace of the existing legacy leased lines for data collection from business clients.
  • Re-routing of low rate interfaces via IP-DSLAM in the low capacity peripheral switching nodes.

The Hard Real-Time Unified Modeling Language (HRT-UML) method, and the supporting toolset, aims at providing a comprehensive solution to the modeling of hard real-time and dependable systems and their early verification, according to rigorous techniques based on formal theories, such as schedulability analysis and simulation, formal verification and quantitative evaluation of dependability attributes.

Microsek is an INTECS Hard Real-Time and Networked Operating System compliant to the Osek/Vdx standard and suitable for the development of Embedded Real-Time Applications.

GECO is a software program developed on a web platform offering functions for Project Account planning and monitoring.
