Name of candidate: Roman Stepanovych Hresko

IC

Interview Report

Work and Travel Program

It is required that 100% of the one-hour interview be conducted totally in English.

Please TYPE (do not handwrite) the report.

Print/scan/email the completed report to: worktravel@dynamicglobalexchange.com.

This completed Interview Report is part of the candidate’s application.

After receipt of all application documents, an officer of DGE will Skype with the candidate. It is also possible that the employer will require a Skype talk before confirming the hire.

Questions

Interviewer must read aloud the questions (do not allow the candidate to read the questions) and note detailed answers. It is acceptable to explain and/or rephrase a question.

Part of the one hour interview may be spent in informal (English) conversation. Inquiring about the candidate’s family and life, sharing your program experiences, and answering questions will help put the candidate at ease and allow you a better opportunity to fairly assess her/his English.

What work experience (working with customers, cashier, server, etc) and/or other skills (volunteering, athletics, etc) have you acquired which may help you succeed in your placement?

I am experienced in giving CPR and first aid help; I have also previously worked as a cashier, cleaner of the parks and as a server, so those positions will be easy for me to pick up. Also, I regularly volunteer in a clinic that tends to disadvantaged and disabled children. I believe in living an active life style which involves swimming and weight exercise.

What is your field of study? What courses have you completed which may help you succeeded in your placement?

I am a third year student at a medical university. I have also completed an intermediate course in swimming and course in the First Aid.

Why do you want to work and live in the U.S. during your summer vacation?

I want to get new experiences, improve my English, meet new people with different backgrounds, and explore American culture.

What placement would you most enjoy? Why?

I would enjoy placement where I’ll get an opportunity to improve my language skills and enjoy a friendly atmosphere.

What do you hope to learn from participating in the program? Why?

I want to gain new skills, improve language, and get to know American culture and new people.

If you want to be placed in the same job/employer/location as friends, if this is not possible are you willing to take a placement in another job/employer/location?

Of course it will be more comfortable to work with friends who I already know well. But it will also be rewarding to work with other people as I will have an opportunity to learn something new from them and about them.

If you want a specific placement, but it is no longer available, are you willing to take a different placement which may be in another location or with another employer?

Even though I would like to be placed in the position of my liking, I am also willing to accept a different position if such a situation arises.

Think about the decision of hiring from the employer’s perspective ... why should the employer hire you?

I am a responsible, honest, hard working, organized punctual, reliable, careful, and self-motivated worker.
