The analysis of the operational context in activities of a human-operator in civil aviation. The research of the practical drift at maintaining acceptable safety level by civil aviation service providers. The analysis of necessity and advantages of safety management systems for civil aviation service providers.
1.2 The study of the detailed report on results of investigation of the accident “The aircraft landing with a runway overrun”. The analysis and classification of general and complimentary reasons of the accident with aircraft. The practical application of the Reason casual model for investigation of this example of accident. The revealing of organizational processes, latent conditions, safety defenses, workplace conditions and active failures resulting in the accident. The group conversation and conclusions on reasons of the accident, results of the accident investigation and discussion on students’ reports.

1.4 The study of detailed report on results of investigation of the accident “The collision of two aircraft at a controlled aerodrome”. The research of “error” and “violation” definitions in a human-operator activities in civil aviation. The research of principles of establishment of the blame-free operational environment on enterprises of civil aviation service providers. The research of the concept model of “Five circles” that describes operational levels of human-operator within certain organisational safety culture.
1.6 The study of the detailed report about volumes and features of construction works at a nominal international airport. The detailed identification of threats and risks (general and complementary) for ATS system activities, aerodrome units and flight operation. The prognosis of possible outcomes of revealed threats and risks for activities of ATS system, aerodrome units and flight operation. The elaboration, according to the ICAO methodology, of general strategy of flight safety provision during the reconstruction of international airport. The group conversation and conclusions how to provide flight safety at the international airport under reconstruction and discussion on students’ reports.
