Nadia Royik (Form 5C)

- It is really a good school. When I came to the collegium for the first time, I couldn’t say anything. I was just shocked. The beautiful plants were the first thing which caught my sight. They are really beautiful. The building is very clean. There are some TV sets in the halls, computers, the children can drink tea or coffee during the breaks or just play the piano in the hall. There is also a nice cafeteria and a cloak-room on the ground floor. The discipline in Novohrad-Volynskyi collegium is very strict. But to my mind, it’s an advantage, because the pupils try to keep school tidy and everything looks perfect.

Irene Havryliv (Form 6E)

- As it wasn’t my first visit to Novohrad-Volynskyi, it was just great to go there again and meet my friends and, of course, the host family. I really enjoyed my stay there. To tell the truth their school is nice-looking. And the discipline is very strict, I wondered how they can live and study like this, but it is a usual thing for them, from the very beginning, that’s why it is not so hard for pupils. They organize different after-school activities, have a lot of clubs that make children get more interested in studying.

Olga Tkach Form 5C

- To tell the truth I was really surprised when I came to the collegium. I can’t but say it’s a great building. Moreover it’s very clean inside. I’ve quite forgotten to mention that there are big mirrors in the building. I must say that students have to change their shoes when they come to school. All of them wear black school uniform without any emblems. And one more thing, they all speak Russian though they speak Ukrainian at the lessons.

Yulia Shevchuk Form 5C

- To tell the truth, the school is great. The classrooms are clean and light and there are a lot of huge plants in the corridors. There are also some computers and TV sets, which pupils could watch during the breaks.

Yaroslav Parolya Form 5C

- Novohrad-Volynskyi collegium made a deep impression on me. I’ve never seen such a well-equipped and nice school. It is wonderful that Ukrainian school children have an opportunity to study at such schools.

HOW DID YOU LIKE THE LESSONS YOU VISITED?

Irene Visna (Form 6M)

- I liked the pupils’ attitude to their school and lessons very much. At the lessons they sit quiet and don’t shout. It is easy to understand because the collegium teachers make their lessons very interesting, so pupils are good at studies.

Karena Balytska (Form 6M)

- I had an opportunity to visit the Foreign Literature lesson in Form 11A. The topic of the lesson was really interesting. I was really active in answering the teacher’s questions. But on the other hand I did not see the discussion. The students seemed to be sleeping at the lesson. I can’t even compare that lesson with the ones at my school.

Stepan Vovchyna (Form 5C)

- I visited the third lesson. It was World Literature. I should say, their lessons are a little bit boring. The only person who spoke was the teacher. We have discussions at our lessons but not lectures.
