Jamie Oliver.

This article is about the celebrity chef.Trevor "Jamie" Oliver, MBE (born 27 May 1975) is an English celebrity chef, restaurateur, and media personality known for his food-focused television shows, cookbooks and more recently his global campaign for better food education. Jamie Oliver was born and raised in the village of Clavering. His parents run a pub/restaurant, The Cricketers, where Oliver used to practise cooking in the kitchen. He was educated at Newport Free Grammar School.Oliver left school at age sixteen with two GCSE qualifications in Art and Geology and went on to attend Westminster Catering College now Westminster Kingsway College. He then earned a City & Guilds National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) in home economics. His first job was a pastry chef at Antonio Carluccio's Neal's Yard restaurant, where he first gained experience with preparing Italian cuisine, and developed a relationship with his mentor Gennaro Contaldo. Later in his career, Jamie employed Contaldo to help run his successful collection of high street restaurants, Jamie's Italian. Jamie then moved to The River Café, Fulham, as a sous chef.

Celebritiyes.

Celebrity is fame and public attention in the media, usually applied to a person, or group of people (celebrity couple, family etc.), or occasionally, to animals or fictional entities. Celebrity status is often associated with wealth (commonly referred to as fame and fortune) and fame can often provide opportunities to make money.Successful careers in sports and entertainment are commonly associated with celebrity status;political leaders often become celebrities. People may also become celebrities due to media attention for their lifestyle, wealth, or actions, or for their connection to a famous person.

Fast food.

Fast food is the term given to food that is prepared and served very quickly, first popularized in the 1950s in the United States. While any meal with low preparation time can be considered fast food, typically the term refers to food sold in a restaurant or store with preheated or precooked ingredients, and served to the customer in a packaged form for take-out/take-away. Fast food restaurants are traditionally separated by their ability to serve food via a drive-through. The term "fast food" was recognized in a dictionary byMerriam–Webster in 1951. Outlets may be stands or kiosks, which may provide no shelter or seating, or fast food restaurants (also known as quick service restaurants). Franchise operations that are part of restaurant chains have standardized foodstuffs shipped to each restaurant from central locations.

KFC.

The man behind KFC Harland Sanders was born in the USA in 1890, but his childhood wasn’t a happy one. His father died when he was only six so his mother needed to find a job. She went to work in a shirt factory and Harland stayed at home to look after his younger brother and sister. That was when he first learned to cook.He left home when he was twelve and worked on a nearby farm. After that he hao a lot of different jobs and in 1930 he became a service station manager in Corbin, Kentucky. He started cooking meals for hungry travellers who stopped at the service station, and soon people came only for the food. Harland moved to a 142-seat restaurant across the street where he could serve all his customers. Over the next nine years he developea the secret chicken recioe that made him famous.KFC recipe is still a secret!



5.Shahrazad’s story.

There w as once an Indian king called Shahriyar. One day King Shahriyar found his wife with another man so he killed her and her lover. After that the King married a different w'oman every day and killed her the next morning before she could stop loving him. This continued for three years.Shahrazad was the clever and beautiful daughter of the King’s adviser. When her father told her what was happening, she decided to marry the King. Shahrazad’s father tried to stop her because he knew she was going to die. But Shahrazad had a plan to save herself and all the women in the kingdom. The King and Shahrazad got married a few days later.After the wedding, while the King was drinking with his friends, Shahrazad went to find her sister. “I need your help,” said Shahrazad. "Come to the palace this evening and ask me to tell you a story.”

The 1001 night.

The Thousand and One Nights is probably one of the most famous books in the world. It is a collection of stories first told by travellers from Persia, Arabia, India and China between the ninth and thirteenth centuries. In later years professional storytellers also told the stories in coffee houses in Turkey, Egypt and many other countries. The Thousand and One Nights contains well-known stones like Aladdin and Ali Baba and the Forty fhieves, so people often think they are just for children - but they were originally for adults.This new edition of The Thousand and One Nights is fully illustrated and contains new versions of all the stories, translated from the original texts by Brian Woodhead.

Applying for a job.

Money makes the world go round. In today’s world money is everything to everyone. If a person doesn’t have money most likely there standard of living is not that nice. However too get money most have to get a job. A job is one of the most crucial aspects of anyone’s life. In fact the average American spends eight percent of their life at work. Thus it is crucial to know how to apply for a job. There are four crucial things every person ready to apply for a job should know. In today’s society knowing the dos and don’ts of getting a job could separate a life of glory and wealth in a job a person loves or a life of minimum wage fast food work. Now when it comes to jobs there are millions and millions of jobs out there, however there are billions of people vying for those jobs. No matter what job it is from being a six-figure doctor to being a minimum wage fry cook there is most of the time always-another person going for the job. This makes it incredibly important to have a edge over the other people trying to get the job. There are three major things to know when trying to get a job. The first crucial step to getting a job is actually to talk to any trustworthy person you are friends or acquaintances with. As weird as this may sound employers generally hire people they know, first and people sent to them from people they know, second. This is of course assuming both applicants have the same amount experience. In fact it has been suggested as many as five of every ten positions are filled through personal contacts.
