Project Description: The Environmental Sciences Division (ESD) has an immediate opening for one post-doctoral fellowship in carbon cycle science and biochemistry. Responsibilities include data collection and analysis, life cycle analysis, and greenhouse gas accounting associated with cropland production, land management and other anthropogenic activities. Modeling includes carbon uptake, transport and release occurring through the planting, harvest, transport and processing of agricultural commodities. Work will be conducted in collaboration with others conducting research in economics and climate change. Annual salary depends on experience. The position will be based at ORNL in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
