SCHEDULE OF REQUIREMENTS

Value The volume of printing services for UNDP CO and UNDP projects for the past 2 and a half years (2.5) was appr. USD 155,000.00. UNDP reserves the right to enter into LTA with more than one bidder and the right to split the award of contract among the LTA holders if it is in UNDP’s best interest. LTAs are considered non-exclusive and estimated amount is based on past needs and the ceiling amount appeared in the LTA does not constitute a commitment to place orders up to the volume. The LTA (s) will be open for use by UN agencies in Turkmenistan.
Duration of the LTA The total expected duration of an LTA is three (3) years. The LTA will be signed for an initial duration of two (2) years, with possibility of an extension for additional year subject to documented satisfactory performance of an LTA holder, availability of funding and continued need of the services.
Language The bidder must be capable of printing the materials in English, Turkmen and Russian languages.
Technical Specifications Technical specifications below are provided as a benchmark for price formation and bid submission only based on the most often orders placed in the past.
Performance Evaluation The performance evaluation will be conducted on an annual basis based on the Key Performance Indicators.
Placing the order The orders will be placed by UNDP CO and respective UNDP Projects through issuance of official purchase orders with details agreed by both parties prior to finalizing.
Long Term Supply Arrangement The quantities indicated in Annexes 3.1., 3.2., 3.3 are provided as a good faith estimates and must not be deemed a firm commitment on the part of UNDP regarding any quantities for future purchases. Actual quantities to be ordered will depend on future requests from UNDP CO, UNDP Projects in Turkmenistan and other interested UN agencies in Turkmenistan, and estimates may not be reached or may be exceeded. The LTA will be signed for an initial duration of two (2) years, with possibility of an extension for additional year subject to documented satisfactory performance of an LTA holder, availability of funding and continued need of the services.The 1st year of the Long Term Agreement does not allow for a price adjustment mechanism on the basis of an evidence of price fluctuations in the input costs. Consequently, the prices offered shall be fixed for the entire duration of the 1st year of the LTA contract. The bidders should specify whether the prices would remain firm for the entire contract period, or alternatively, they should indicate a maximum yearly increase rate.

This price arrangement does not oblige UNDP to spend any money. The Long Term price arrangement is a non-exclusive arrangement and UNDP has the right to purchase the same or similar goods/services from other suppliers at its sole discretion as the situation may warrant.
