Subject: Uniting the world on 11/11/11

Dear Valerian Tukbaev

Greetings from Australia fellow TEDster.

The reason why I am writing is I’m working on a unique project aimed at uniting the world on 11/11/11 through the arts and I need your help. I noticed you are a passionate about unity and hence I thought you might be interested in our project.

On 11/11/11, our objective is to get as many people in the world to capture their lives using film, photography, music, sound and text. It’s quintessentially “A day in the life of the world” told by the people of earth. Post this date we will collect all the created content and turn it into different projects including a documentary film, photographic book and world music collection. Our project is not for profit and money raised will go to charity.

I could really do with your assistance letting the people of Russia know about the project. Would you be able to help? It would be an honour to work with you.

Danielle Lauren

Danielle Lauren is passionate about conscientious entertainment. She believes that the arts can contribute both positively and significantly to global social change. Based in Sydney, Danielle is currently the Australian Ambassador for the “Charter for Compassion” and consults for ‘Australians for United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees’.

Her not-for-profit experience includes financial and awareness campaigns for the Nelson Mandela Foundation, WIZO, the NSW Rape Crisis Centre and the AIDS council. Creatively Ms Lauren has produced and directed a variety of film, television, theatrical and online productions.

She has developed projects for The Sydney Opera House, Sony Music, BBC, ITV and major Australian Broadcasters. Danielle completed her post graduate studies at the prestigious Australian Film, Television and Radio School and her Maters of Film from Sydney University. Currently Ms Lauren is developing an interactive global social project 11/11/11, which will launch later this year.
