Q: Good morning!

We are glad to see you in Japan and in our company as well. My name is Sauri Youkugava and this is my partner Karachita Todoshi. We represent R and D department of our company.

 

P: The autumn rain

Has whispered

That somebody has to arrives...

So let me introduce myself. I am Paul Vladkovsky and I am a Senior Business Person of Russian company “I.C.E.” dealing with production of cars.

 

L: Oh,oh… we are tremendously impressed by your awareness of Japanese culture…Your mastery of hocky just left us speechless!

 

P (SMILE) –

How many flowers

The same situation we can see with the market of cars. There is a truly a big amount of manufacturers here, but all of us has smth unique to offer undoubtedly.

 

Q: Oh, yes, it really is…

 

P: Now, I would like to outline the overall concept of our product. We want you to create a ground-breaking, brand new, innovative vehicle.

 

Disparity is hiding

Deeply inside of our lives

And visiting our minds sometimes.

 

But we have solved this problem, I hope. The production will be distributed mostly in two core streams: the up-market production, which refers to consumption in OAE and other Arab countries, and the budgetary cars, which will be oriented mainly to Brazil.

 

L. – Thank you for your confidence in our company. We have to specify your points. So you want us to go back drawing board and create a new innovative technology for 2 different car models?

 

 

P. – The wind has told me,

That starting from the beginning

Yes, you are absolutely right. However, I do not want to apply for a product right now, just to obtain information central to get objective view on our probable future cooperation.

Q. - So, if you want to know more about our organisation we want to start with main foundations of our company.

L. - In order to let you know how our company is working, I will present information about structure of our organization. There are a great number of business units working in specific areas of launching new entries. To bring rigor to our speech we want to focus your attention on a few concrete groups.



 

Q. - First step in developing a concept is investigation of our consumers needs. To have excellent sales potential we have two focus-groups which are aimed at researching consumers. First group use conventional method for studying consumer’s needs. It involves a great number of tests, social surveys, and so on.

 

L. - Second group spends a lot of time with consumers eyeball-to-eyeball asking them about their habits and frustrations in order to be in touch with their views. According to that, it is an insightful point to understand consumer’s needs which they may not even articulate.

 

Q. - After that a local group of employees generates few ideas on the new product based on the presented findings. Then these ideas are evaluated by higher inventors and the most feasible ones are to be selected.

 

L - As a result of these vital activities we present detailed product description and after your consent we perfect the design if it necessary and create a prototype which goes through the examinations and test-drives before rolling out.

 

Q. - Thank you very much for attention and now it is time to cross all the T’s and dot all the I’s. So we are eagerly waiting for your questions.

 

P. – Oh, I see you have a really committed strategy. There is no doubt your findings are of daring and consistent originality. And such a streamlined decision-making process… Well, your qualifications are beyond the question.
