Listen to the following proverbs and sayings. Make sure you understand each sentence. Observe the peculiarities of intonation group division, pitch, stress and tempo. Underline the communicative centre and the nuclear word of each intonation group. Practise reading the proverbs and sayings. Make your reading expressive. Memorize them.
