Module’s passport

The aim of the course: to give a complete picture of the stages and characteristics of the historical process in Kazakhstan from the ancient period till the nowadays.

Tasks:

- A system of knowledge on the key problems of the history of Kazakhstan.

- Analyze the historical sources on the main events of the recent history of Kazakhstan

- Generate creative thinking in students through the application of techniques problem lectures;

- Determine where the modern history of Kazakhstan in the humanities

- Develop respect for national history and cohesive picture of the historical stages of development of Kazakhstan.

General competence
A - Instrumental competences
The ability to analyze scientifically socially significant problems and processes, to be able to use the methods of historical science in a variety of professional and social activities, demonstrate an understanding of the overall structure of historical knowledge and the relationship with other disciplines, to form a system of historical concepts in their interaction with each other, the development of theoretical thinking in the analysis of the information received, the creation of an image of the world based on that knowledge. Possession of a degree terminology in a foreign language.
B - Interpersonal competences
Have positive communication skills in a multicultural, multi-ethnic and multi-religious society, based on knowledge of ethical values, historical roots and traditions of different ethnic communities and social groups. Knowledge of the social and cultural features of the language community. Provide insight into the principles of tolerance and intercultural dialogue.
C - reference system
- The ability to use the knowledge gained in the field of history education to play the picture of historical fact, are closely related to all aspects of public life, the ability to compare the individual events with socio-economic, political and cultural processes in the world and in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Understanding the similarities and differences between the cultures of the native country and the country of interest. Ability to reproduce and produce dialogic and monologues in the Kazakh and Russian languages ​​in the field of civil, scientific and professional communication.

Ability to absorb and use the extensive knowledge of the various sections of history, including modern methodological approaches and historiographical trends.

Prerequisites: In order to study this subject requires knowledge of the following subjects as Ancient History, Medieval History, History of ancient and medieval and modern history of Kazakhstan, Cultural Studies, Philosophy, Political Science.



Postrequisites: This knowledge will help you to explore such subjects as the historiography of the history of Kazakhstan, The Modern History of Kazakhstan, ethnic history, history of Asia and Africa, Europe and America.

The course "History of Kazakhstan" is theoretical. At the rate comprises 30 lectures. Course materials can be found in the recommended literature. You should read these materials prior to lectures. After the lecture, carefully read all the material given to these sources.

Provides 2 foreign controls. For each student the maximum current control can score 30 points. Types of monitoring: Written assignment (essay, essay), colloquium, the project, an oral interview.

We hope that your behavior and attitude to the course will meet the Code of honor student. You do not have to miss class, be late. To class you should come prepared. Crib during the exam and assignments is prohibited.

All estimates are made up of your results on each task. Report the average score for the final grade for the course. If you disagree with the final assessment you can challenge it in the exam.

Attendance required. Please do not be late to class and not talk during class. For absences suggest the following penalties:

- Lack of a seminar without a good reason - 1 point;

- For each job unprepared for SIW - 3 points

 

Basic requirements for components of the course

• a deep study of the major events in history of Kazakhstan.

• understanding of basic concepts of national historiography in the modern history of Kazakhstan;

• Knowledge of the historical sources on this period;

• Ability to critically analyze the historical sources and literature, and approach to the study, understanding the historical events of the twentieth and the beginning of HH1vv. from the standpoint of the current level of world historical science;

• Students must be clear of categories to learn about different periods of history of kazakhstan.

The course " History of Kazakhstan" is a theoretical course. At the rate comprises 30 lectures.

Note: Surrender control of a landmark is in the form of colloquia, blitz interviews, combined tests, oral replies to the topics to be passed. Delivery of a milestone monitor is evaluated from 0 to 10 points.

In order to enhance the development of theoretical knowledge at the rate of 7.6 provided jobs for the CDS.

For the surrender of SRSP you get from 0 to 5 points. To get maximum points you need to understand the problem, to own terminology and give a logical answer. Total overall score, which you can teach a CDS 6 points.

All assignments must be submitted in accordance with the schedule the date the CCF. Tasks carried out late will automatically be evaluated below. Implementation of these requirements provides admission to the exam. During the exam you will get from 0 to 40 points.

 

We expect that your attitude to the course and conduct are consistent with the Code of honor student. You do not have to miss classes without a valid reason to be late, be undisciplined in the audience, to be disrespectful to the teacher and students. To class you should come prepared in order to discuss the material. Ask the necessary questions and practical approach to the implementation of tasks, the solution of which we are doing, so you can learn from this, all that is necessary to you in your future work.

Mandatory attendance. Please do not be late to class, do not talk on and off your mobile phone.

In case of violation of the above requirements I set the following penalties:

- Delay (- 1 point);

- Gaps (- 1 point);

- The late submission of work (- 1 point);

- In the absence of SIWT (- 1 point for each untrained task);

- Behaviour in the classroom (violation) - 1 point.

 

Grading policy

When placing your ratings I would take into account:

1) Attendance and activity in the classroom;

2) Timely delivery of SIW.
