READING TEXT FOR READING One a Frenchman who did not know English very well visited England. One day he went into the large hall of the post office with a latter. There were many counters there with the words over them "telegrams", "parcels", "registered letters", "stamps". He went up to the counter with "stamps" over it and said to the girl behind the counter, "I want to send this letter. I have no stamps. " "Here is a stamp for you", said the girl.
