Almaty, 2010 Executive Summary “The Krusty Krab” fast food café, unlike a typical café, will provide a unique combination of excellent food at value pricing with a friendly and entertaining atmosphere. “The Krusty Krab” is the answer to increasing demand for tasty and also halal fast food, and the most important – children oriented café that will satisfy all our little clients’ needs and their parents’ pockets. In today's highly competitive environment, it is becoming increasingly more difficult to differentiate one fast food café concept from another. “The Krusty Krab” solves this problem by being the only café, whose concepts are taken from the most popular cartoon, “SpongeBob SquarePants”, nowadays. Design and menu of our café will be taken from that cartoon, so it will be recognizable and a perfect place to enjoy the meal. “The Krusty Krab” will be located in the most popular shopping mall of Almaty, in “Mega Centre Almaty”. This place is highly crowded with children, who are our main target market. And we are sure it will be one of the key factors of our success. Other key factors are (1) high quality of our products; (2) quick and professional service, and (3) fun atmosphere. Firstly, we will be dealing with reliable, well-known and certificated suppliers. Because the quality of our meals is important as for us, so for our clients. Secondly, we will offer part-time job for students, avoiding tired and unmotivated employees. Another aspect of our choice is social, we will give chance to students to earn and gain some experience. The last, but not the least – is creating entertaining atmosphere, giving children opportunity to feel themselves in amazing world of cartoon. To become the best, we will purchase the best machinery and equipment from such countries like France, Germany and Italy. So, to cover such and other start-up costs, as co-owners of “The Krusty Krab”, Dauren Dulatbayev, Rasul Rakhmetzhanov, Aidos Sugurov and Abylay Bekibayev, we will invest overall 5 000 000kzt to start our business. I. Business Description Name of the Business Ask yourself “what do children prefer to watch?”. Of course, cartoons. Nowadays, the most popular cartoon is “Sponge Bob Square Pants” in the Nickelodeon channel. “The Krusty Krabs” is a fast food restaurant in the city of Bikini Bottom in the television series “Sponge Bob Square Pants”. The name were established by converting the ailing Rusty Krab retirement home into fast food restaurant and practically adding the key to the word rusty making it the Krusty Krab to the name[1]. Because of such popularity of the cartoon the Krusty Krab fast food restaurant is highly recognized among children. That is why we took this name. Nature of the Business To all our customers we offer high quality, fast-served meals, based on a central theme of cartoon we provide with variety of foods and drinks, such as Krabs Burger and Lazy Patty, and drinks varying from Cola to Milkshakes.
