NORMS OF BEHAVIOR IN THE APARTMENTS TO STUDENTS GUESTS

The relationship between the student and the owner of the property is of responsibility of the Association Mediterraneo, and not of the Università per Stranieri Dante Alighieri di Reggio Calábria.

The management of the apartments is regulated by the norms of behavior, indicatied and rules declared by Mediterranean, through their person in charge, the respect and the observance of the internal norms and the good behavior among the parts.

The apartment is reserved exclusively to the related guests by Mediterranean; besides these, can enter in the apartment only the friends of the Università per Stranieri Dante Alighieri, with approval of all the other guests of the same apartment.

It is severely prohibited to organize parties in the apartment, and everything that can cause uncomfort to the neighbors or damages to the property; besides, it is obligatory to adapt to the regulation effective condominium and to respect the regulation of the Municipal Police, that bans disturbances and noises and it gives the following schedules of night rest: from 22:00 to 08:00, of October to June; of the 23:00 to the July 07:00 to September.

The guest is integrally responsible for the area that corresponds the bedroom, and equally for the common areas. He should conserve and, to return the apartment in the same conditions in which it received it, and it should obey appropriate norms of hygiene and cleaning. In the lack of these, it will be obligatory the service of cleaning at the end of the period in the property, and the respective cost will be discounted.

Each damage eventually caused to the property or the furniture should be compensated by who has provoked it; in the case of some damage to be verified but not to be possible the individuation of the direct responsible, the fault will be imputed to the guest of the bedroom if the problem has happened in the area of his pertinence, but will be considered responsibl, all the guests of the apartment if the verified damage goes in common area.

For such purpose, the guests, in the action of confirmation of readiness for the family that will accommodate him, they should pay to the Association Mediterraneo a caution of € 100,00, that will be returned to student at the end of the permanence, after the control of the property by the owner, in case any damage is verified.

The destination of the apartments will happen according to the established criteria for Mediterranean, which will consider the choices of the students guests (according to enclosure), the chronological order of the requests, and naturally, according to the disponibility of the bedrooms. If the criteria above does not satisfy Mediterraneo will provide the disposition of the students in the free apartments in that moment? .

It is prohibited the use fire apparels gas or electric that don't respect the norms CEE of safety.The consumption of kitchen gas is included in the share of the rent; however, the electric power consumption and eventual centralized heating equally will be divided among all of the guests of the same apartment.

During the period, for problems of wather providing in some areas of the city, the administration of the municipal district makes cuts of water during some hours of the day. For this, for the eventual lack of water in some apartments, the owners of the properties cannot be made responsible, much less the Università per Stranieri, which could not turn over such problem.

Any problem regarding the management of the apartment should be immediately communicated to one of the person in charge of Mediterranean. One of them will be present in the office Mediterranean Point close to the General office of the Università per Stranieri, in the schedules for these official reports at the beginning of the courses.

Mediterraneo has the faculty of making control inspections without notice, but in presence of the guest, and such faculty says respect exclusively to the person in charge of the Association and the owner of the property.

Every controversy between the owner and the students guests will be solved through the mediation of the responsible of Mediterranean, which is entitled in merit, being irrelevant the judgment of the parts, in the cases where don't enroll problems to implicate the intervention of the Public Authority.
