Basic level of knowledge and skills

Subject: Immunology and transplantology

( 4:00 )

Place

Classroom , office therapeutic profile .

Goal

to know :

• Learn the basic terms of Transplantation - autotransplantation , allotransplantation , xenotransplantation . Transplantation - Clinical and Experimental .

• The concept of pretransplantation monitoring - degree of histocompatibility , the initial immune status of the recipient.

• Mechanisms of transplant rejection - subacute , acute, chronic .

• Understand the etiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations , diagnostic techniques, post- transplant infectious complications ( uremia effects of immunosuppressive therapy ) to be able to make a clinical examination and differential diagnosis between a crisis of rejection and infectious complications .

• Have an understanding of the basic medical immunosuppressive drugs ( Azotiaprin , cyclosporine , immunoglobulins, corticosteroids) , the circuit means and treatment. Stem cells - a breakthrough in the future of transplantation .

• The concept of a hybrid for the treatment of new drugs .

be able to:

• In time establish the diagnosis of infectious complications in patients after transplantation (kidney ), monitor key indicators of the general blood test immunograms in patients who are taking immunosuppressive therapy . Establish the clinical diagnosis and treatment of post-transplant patients in the presence of infectious complications.

Professional orientation of students

Now an increasing number of mature individuals with multiple physical illnesses that require long-term medication . Alternative pharmacological drugs should serve as organ and tissue transplantation (kidney , liver, heart , bone marrow, skin) , and it can significantly change the quality of life for the better. Therefore the problem of donor organs and tissues has received considerable attention and have a social problem . Considerable interest in the study of transplantation requires a number of factors - anatomical , hormonal , immunological, as practical application . In recent years developed techniques used in stem cell transplantation , as the most efficient in their use can be avoided complications from taking immunosuppressive drugs due to the fact that they will be administered in minimal doses .

90 C of the twentieth century with the hybrid technology developed using monoclonal antibodies , including in the treatment of malignant tumors.

Concept of IVF and problems during pregnancy after IVF transplntologii occupy a significant place.

Learning objective

Teach students to apply the basics of ethical knowledge in the relationship with post-transplant patients with immunodeficiency . Particular attention should be paid to the adaptation of patients. Take the system on patients .

Basic level of knowledge and skills

¹ subject know be able to
1. anatomy Anatomical structure of organs that can be transplanted
2. physiology Interrelation of donor-recipient histocompatibility. Concept immunosuppression need of temperature measurement
3. biochemistry Metabolic disorder in violation of physiological relations Interpret these blood tests at immunosuppression
4. pathophysiology Shift and compensation mechanisms in case of insufficient hormonal and immune components, taking into account factors of inflammation.
5. Internal Medicine Semiotics chronic somatic diseases, pathology provoking reproduction Assess the clinical and instrumental examination
