Thursday 5th June

Thursday was arrival day as per usual, with the OC of the event kindly putting on a great pick-up service for all participants where one of their volunteers would meet us at our arrival destination and help show us how to get to the hostel. They then organised a walking tour around the city with some really interesting historical facts about the buildings. Later we had a brief opening ceremony at the castle, followed by a relaxed evening before the start of plenaries the next day.

came out with some more promotional images (below r ight).

Outcome: Take a look at the discounts your students can get with their ESNcards at esncard.org

At the end of September all participants ESN Russia will be able to purchase cards from sections representatives. All information about discounts in Russia will be presented in social media and official sites.

Evening

In the evening, we had a tram party. Basically, the OC had hired out a tram that goes around the city and it was fitted with club-style lighting, sound systems etc., which was a lot of fun! Everybody really

appreciated the initiative of the OC to surprise us with new concepts for the social programme rather than the standard model of just visiting a club night after night.
