ORDER AND PRESENTATION OF THE PROJECTS FOR THE COMPETITION

TARGETS

The first competition of scientific and technical creativity of youth "Nobel Day" (hereinafter - competition) is conducted to identify and support talented students and young scientists, to create conditions for disclosure of their creative abilities, expanding of large-scale involvement and increasing of productivity of research activity, promoting the integration of medicine, education, science and production, active implementation of research and development into practice.

OBJECTIVES

• Encourage students and young scientists to increase interest in science, technology and research activities;

• Increase the competitiveness of youth scientific and technical research and developments and to promote its advancement;

• Ensure that the interaction of educational, scientific, industrial and business organizations;

ORGANIZERS

The competition is organized by Students' Scientific Society (SSS) of KSMU and Council of Young Scientists (CYS) of KSMU.

 

PARTICIPANTSOF THECOMPETITION

The competition involved students and young scientists from institutions of higher education, representing copyrights and collective researches, developments, projects within the stated theme.

PROCEDURE AND TERMS OF THE COMPETITION

The competition is held in two stages:

- I stage - application. Applications for participation in the competition are accepted from December 1, 2013 till 10 January 2014, according to the thematic directions of the Competition and its nominations.

The expert commission provides projects evaluation and recommendations for participation in the competition. By the results of the Istage the expert committee on a competitive basis selects the best research work for the participation in the II stage of the competition. Selection for the II stage is conducted according to the criteria of evaluation of works. Publication of results of the first stage and sending information to the participants who passed into the second stage is January 25. To participate in the competition thefollowing documents should be sent to the email: sno_kgmu_pr@mail.ru, no later than January 10, 2014:

1 ) Application of Competition participant (Annex 1 ), 2) Description of the project with illustrations (Appendix 2) .

- II stage - is the final (live) and will be held on February17, 2014 within the competition program of scientific and technical creativity of youth "Nobel Day."

Venue of the IIStage: Karaganda, Gogol Street 40, Building ¹4.

ORDER AND PRESENTATION OF THE PROJECTS FOR THE COMPETITION

Individually performed research, experimentation, design developments, inventions presented in the form of models, layouts, full-scale models, computer programs, etc., which are accompanied by information and explanatory material with obligatory indication of the sequence of work, analysis of the received results, indicating the field of application will be accepted forparticipation in the competition.



Defense of a project involves using the party's message means exhibition display and discussion of the topic in the form of free discussion.

NOMINATIONS

The contest is held in the following categories:

• The most creative project;

• Best Research Project;

• Best commercial project.
